"Mother, but why do we have to move? Can't we transfer schools?" I whined, stuffing my uniform neatly on top of my other clothes.

"Asia sweetie, we have to start new. A fresh start." Mum said, folding my skirt.

"Mum! I don't need my skirts folded, I can do them myself." I take them away from her and stuff them inside of my luggage, "What about Aaron?"

"He can visit your father every month, now hurry, your aunt will be here any moment to drive us to the airport." Mum said and left the room.

I zipped my last luggage, pushing my crinkly brown hair out of my face, sighing.

-

"Bye Auntie! I'm going to miss you." I kissed her cheeks and pulled away from the hug, "Why didn't Lila come?"

"She's babysitting the twins," Aunt Mae smiles, "I'll see you soon darling."

"Hopefully, I love you." I kissed again and got out the car, "Tell the others I miss them too!"

"I will!"

-

Mum pushed the baggage cart as Aaron and I walked behind, telling each other jokes.

"What did you tell Harley?" I wink, poking his red cheeks.

"Nothing, why?" He shrugs, playing it off.

"She told me something." I smile and sped up to walk beside mum, "Do we really have to move to America mum?"

"Asia, stop asking mum questions." Aaron popped up in between us, "What did Harley say?"

"Nothing important," I sighed.

"Tell me."

"No. Ask her yourself." I ruffled my brother's hair, he shoved my hand away and took a few steps away.

"But we're leaving, I can't ask her."

"You can call her dum dum, I'll call her right now and you can ask. Perfect!" I pulled my phone from my back pocket and pretend to text Harley, Aaron's eye widen and he snatched my phone away.

"Don't! Just tell me, please Asia."

"Nopeeee." I emphasized, grabbing my phome back, "You like her, don't cha?"

"No!" He looked away, "Mum, I'm going to miss London." He changed the subject.

-

We are seated on the plane, everyone is alseep except for me and a mother breastfeeding her infant. I check the time on my phone screen, 7:23 pm.

"America time is four hours back, so..." I did the math in my head, even though I had a world time app on mum phone, "Its 3:23 pm right now."

"Goodnight mom, night Aaron." I whispered, laying my head on the window, "Bye London, bye Dad."
