Yael's POV

*ding dong*

"K?" I saw her smile when she saw me. I went in then we sat on the couch.

We talked for a good 2 hours and when I saw na she was yawning already, I told her that we should go to bed.

"Okay. Good night, then, misto."

"Um, alright, I'll be going to my unit now. Bye." I turned back but I felt arms wrap around me.

Karylle's POV

"I love you, okay?" I said while hugging him from his back.

"Okay."

"Is there something wrong?"

"Huh? Sorry. I just badly need to close my eyes already. Good night. Bye." He walked to the door and he disappeared.

Weird. There's something wrong, I know there is. He's like acting really weird. No endearment, no I love you's. Maybe he doesn't love me anymore.

Oh, Ana Karylle, you're just over thinking. He's sleepy, that's why. He said nga di ba, he's sleepy. Okay? Okay.

*ding dong*

Maybe that's him. Maybe he came back because he forgot to say I love you.

I ran to the door. With excitement, I turned the knob. I was surprised to see Coleen. Not Yael. Ana Karylle, why did you even think he would come back? He's sleepy na nga di ba? Kulit.

"Oh, h-hi, Coleen! I didn't expect you to come."

"Ate K, Ate K, is Kuya Yael in there?" She talks really fast na parang may nanghahabol sakanya.

"No, why?"

"Great. Ate K can we come inside now?"

"Yes, okay, sure." She went to the living room while I went to the kitchen to get us some drinks ad foods.

"Oh, Coleen, bakit parang may naghahabol sayo?"

"Don't mind that, ate, just listen to me very carefully."

"That seems to be a serious topic."

"Ate K, they are backstabbing you."

"What? Who?"

"Billy, Ate Anne, everyone. Ate please be very care--"

"What? No, Coleen. I was just with them a while ago, we were with them."

"Believe me, ate."

"Coleen, you know what, baka nakainom ka lang, namumula ka na o, see."

"Ate, I heard them say things behind your back! Why won't you believe me?"

"Coleen, why do you want us na mag-away ulit? Aren't you happy na finally nagbati na kami nila Anne? Or baka nag-away naman kayo nila Anne kaya sinisiraan mo sila saakin?"

"No, ate K, no. I'm telling you the truth."

"Coleen, siguro you're drunk lang. Do you have your car? I'll bring you home na lang." She didn't say any word and nakikita kong medyo naiiyak na din siya. When I got back home, napaisip ako, was she really serious on that? And bakit siya naiiyak? Totoo ba talaga yung sinasabi niya at ayaw kong paniwalaan or maybe she's just depressed?

I don't know. I don't know kung ano na yung totoo. If they were really backstabbing me, edi sana hindi na lang nila ako binati. Aish. Ano ba?

Tomorrow, maybe I'll know the truth. Ana Karylle, just close your eyes and sleep. I'll forget about everything in my dreams at least.
