Some mild bad language, but nothing major
"Yes, of course i'll ring if Grandpa doesn't pick me up, no, I won't talk to strangers, yes, i'm fine, stop fussing! Okay, see ya dad, take care of mum for me!" You wave at your parents, boarding pass clutched tightly in your clammy hand. You managed to convince them you were confident with flying alone to London, you had even convinced yourself, but now you weren't so sure as your bag was put through the x-ray machine. You suddenly had the urge to run back to your parents, but somehow made yourself step through the metal detector and pick up your travel case and shoulder bag.
You board the plane, waiting in the skinny aisle which was jam-packed with people all putting their cases in the overhead lockers or taking their seats. A familiar english accent catches your attention, and you look up to see none other than Joe Sugg. You simply stare at him and his famous blue eyes.
"Please, Caspar! I don't wanna sit by myself! It's not fair if you and Oli sit together, you sat together on the way there, and I had to sit next to that grumpy old lady who kept poking me!" You can't stop a giggle from escaping your lips. "Stop whining, Joe. You're so bloody annoying sometimes, jeez," Caspar replies playfully as he settles himself down next to Oli. You can hardly believe it. You had watched these three on Youtube for years, and now here they were in front of your very eyes!
An announcement came over the speaker, "Good evening, ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats as we will be beginning our taxi shortly," You snap out of your starstruck daze, and try lift your case up, it's pretty heavy, and you struggle, getting a bit flustered. You almost drop it when a strong hand is suddenly supporting the weight. "Let me help you with that,"
You look up, and Joe is holding on to your suitcase! He smiles at you while you just stare at him, quickly closing your mouth which you hadn't realised had been hanging open. You thank him with a blush and wish you weren't so shy, wish you were brave enough to say something to your celebrity crush, but your mouth can't seem to form any words. His stare lingers, then he talks again, his beautiful voice drifting into your mind.
"We should probably take our seats now," He grins as a slightly annoyed-looking air hostess glares at you both from the crew section of the plane. He motions for you to go first, a true gentleman. A quick glance at your boarding pass reveals you are seated right behind Oli and Caspar, and also right next to Joe... Your heart starts hammering in your chest, and you try to speak again, this time with more success. "Um, I think i'm sitting in row 24.." You stutter, and you see Joe's eyes light up, causing a rush of heat to flood your cheeks. "Same! Do you want to sit by the window?" He asks. You nod happily, then stop. "Unless you want to? I really don't mind," You say hurriedly, thinking about how you had been looking forward to taking dreamy pictures of the clouds out of the plane window. "No no, I insist, after you," He says, and you slide into the end seat, tossing your handbag under the seat in front.
"Joe, we can swap seats if you really want to sit next to Oli," Caspar's head pops over the seat directly in front of Joe, his eyes running over your face and his mouth in a small smirk, his cheeky South African accent sounded so much cooler in real life. Joe looks at you, grinning. "Not a chance, mate. I think i'm good over here," You blush, and hear Caspar mutter as he turns back around, "Lucky bastard,"
"So," Joe says, turning to you. "It's really nice to meet you, my name's Joe, if you hadn't heard from Caspar," He holds out his hand, which you shake, hoping your palms aren't grossly sweaty. "I'm Y/N, i'm actually kind of a fan of yours," You answer. To your surprise he blushes slightly. You quickly follow up your last words, "I hadn't realised you guys were here in New Zealand, but I guess that's a good thing, right? Don't want any crazy fans stalking you or anything," You blurt, you don't know when you found your words, but you actually feel really comfortable around him, like you've already been best friends for ages.
