The Not So Perfect Girl

Chapter One

There is always a bridge in your life that is hard to cross. Sometimes you are in the middle and don't know whether to go back or to carry on going forward, and sometimes you just can't get to the other side, because of that one mistake that you made. The hardest part is when you need your friends urgently but they turn you down because of what you have done. Trust and honesty are the two most important things in a friendship, but when you break your friends trust it is hard to gain it back. When you are dishonest to your friends it is hard for them to believe you. 

Emma's P.O.V

I woke up to my alarm going off. Summer holiday's have finished and it was time to go back to school. I am a senior this year, which is very exciting. Also due to my excellent grades throughout my years of High school, I just know that I am going to pass this year just as easily. 

I grabbed my phone off the bedside cabinet to look at the time. "Argh" I moan a bit too loudly while looking at the time. It was only seven o'clock and school didn't start until eight thirty.  After putting my phone back on the beside cabinet I fell asleep again. 

 "Emma!! It is time to wake up you have school in less than an hour," My mum said. "Emma!! Emma!!" EMMA WAKE UP!!!!!"My mother yelled in my ear. I instantly woke up to sun shining through the windows right into my eyes and my mother yelling at me to wake up. "Okay,Okay," I said in a frustrated voice. "I am up! So can you please leave so that I can get changed," I asked my mother. 

As soon as my mum left the room, I got up and went to go have a quick shower before getting ready for school. I was looking forward to going back to school, because, I miss my friends like crazy and I also have awesome subjects. 

Once I had finished having a shower, getting dressed and doing my hair and makeup, I grabbed my school bag, phone and headphones  before running down the stairs to the kitchen to have some breakfast. When I got to the kitchen, I saw my dad making breakfast and my mum drinking a cup of coffee ,while checking her email on the laptop. "Good Morning Mum," I said kissing her on the cheek. I then walked over to my dad and gave him a kiss on the cheek, before saying good morning to him too. 

After breakfast, I gave both of my parents a kiss on the cheek, grabbed all of my stuff and then started walking over to the front door. "Good Bye!" I said to them both before walking out the door and over to my friend Ana, who was waiting in her car for me and the end of our driveway.
