"Jace, wake up! WAKE UP! JACE ALEXANDER CARTER WAKE THE FUCK UP!" I groaned at the sound of mom's incessant voice, yelling and nagging as usual.
"Piss off, mom! I just want sleep!" I yelled, hearing her growl in return. Oh great.
"You will not be late for your first day of your junior year, if I have anything to do with it!" Mother screeched. She was so irritating, I swear she's destroying the werewolf name.
"WILLAM CARTER GET YOUR ASS IN HERE AND GET YOUR SON UP!" I tried to block out or ignore her whining but I could hear a deep voice respond, my father.
"Yes, Lilly. I'm coming, dear" For the Alpha he is so pathetic. Everything went quiet for a moment, and here I was thinking I finally won my sleep back. I heard footsteps before shooting my eyes open as I felt the ice cold water pour onto my bare back. I growled loudly in response, before jumping onto, and attacking my father.
"YOU ASSHOLE!" I yelled, throwing weak punches at his chest, but I lost it when he chuckled. See sleep is a precious thing for me and it's a very bad idea for one to interrupt it. But I couldn't hurt him too bad, he's the Alpha, he needs to stay healthy until I can take over. Once I've found my mate of course.
Now people must be very confused so allow me to explain. I'm Jace Carter, sassy, sarcastic, I like to think of myself as funny, a bit of a prankster and yes, a werewolf. My father, William Carter, will resign when I find my mate and marry them, making me the next Alpha. My mother, Lilly Carter is psychotic but I love her. The reason they are so insistent on me getting up this year is since I'm 16 I could find my mate this year. The thing with us werewolves is just one touch will change our lives. Just a touch, to find the one. One touch, ha strange isn't it? I never liked the idea of having a mate. I want to choose who I love, but oh well, it's my fate, I guess.
After I had pushed my parents out of my room, I ran to my blue and white bathroom and jumped in the shower. I stayed in there for only 10 minutes before grabbing a black towel, wrapping it around my waist, and racing to my room. I looked through my closet and growled. Getting annoyed at everything, I decided on my last option; call my two best friends, Nikki and Grace. A delicate but rushed voice answered;
"Hi, Jace boo. What's wrong?" Thank God she picked up.
"Nikki! Put me on speaker phone, I need Grace and your opinion! It's the first day, I'm 16 and I need to look good, babe!" I rushed out, hearing a snort in response, that's Nikki. Then a small giggle, Grace.
"You're so gay, Jace!" They both laughed loudly, giggling drilling into my ears.
"SHUT UP AND HELP ME GODDAMN IT!" I interrupted, only making them laugh more. Once they had finished, they asked what I wanted to wear. I groaned and looked through my closet rushedly.
"I want simple but effective. Like jeans and a t-shirt, but attractive" I explained, only hearing sighs in response. Rude.
"Okay. Jace, pick your black skinny jeans" Nikki stated, I nodded then realized she couldn't see me and mentally slapped myself.
"Okay, and what shirt? I'm not going shirtless, I did that last year and got suspended, remember?" Nikki and Grace laughed again at the memory.
"Oh, yeah! And it was our idea too!" they giggled as I growled at them.
"HELP, GIRLS! HELP!" I whined into the phone, pouting at my dull closet. Jesus, they'll be the death of me.
"Okay, wear your tighter gray shirt that says 'BITE ME' in black letters! That one's awesome!" Grace yelled excitedly, earning another nod from myself, even though they couldn't see.
"Okay and shoes?" I questioned pulling out the selected items.
"BLACK VANS!" They yelled at the same time. I winced away from the phone, scrunching up my eyes for some reason, before pulling it back to my ear.
"Okay. Thanks, girls! See you in 10!" I added gratefully, but pausing when I heard Grace sigh.
"Nikki's driving and with her driving we'll be there in 5" she spoke up, Nikki's loud laugh finishing her sentence.
"HEY I'M A GOOD DRIVER MOSTLY!" she defended, making me laugh before I hung up. Slipping on what they told me to, I quickly ran my hand through my hair and trudged downstairs, grabbing a piece of toast and my black backpack.
"GOODBYE, MOM! BYE, DAD!" I yelled, hearing a lovely;
"Bye, sweetie" from my mother. And an extra lovely;
"See ya, shithead" from dad. Jeez I love him.
Walking out the door of my mansion, yes I have a mansion, I'm the next Alpha what did you think I'd have? I saw Nikki and Grace in the front seats of Nikki's black mustang. I jumped in the back, leaning forward and giving both the girls a kiss on the cheek. What? I'm gay and they're my best friends.
"Hey, Jacey" Grace's sweet voice greeted with a smile.
"Hey, Jace boo" Nikki's lovely voice flooded the car.
"Hey, girls! What the fuck Nikki how do you wear those?!" I looked at my best friend in her black ripped skinny jeans, black Troye Sivan belly top and wait for it... 6 INCH FUCKING BLACK HEELS WHAT THE FUCK?! "I just do it's a girl thing you wouldn't get it now shut ya face my sexy bitch!" I growled out a "Fine" Before turning to Grace "WHAT YOU TOO?! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR SHY ADORABLENESS!?" Nikki laughed loudly "That was me see we match!" I looked at Grace again and realised she was wearing white ripped skinny jeans, a white Troye Sivan belly top and white 6 inch heals all the same brand as Nikki. "Seriously?" They both gave me playful glares as I shook my head.
"Whatever now turn up the music and lets head for the hell hole!" I exclaimed, filling the car with loud laughter as Nikki revved the car and Grace turned up 'Get Me Out' by Falling In Reverse. We sang and screamed along as we sped down the highway. We didn't care, we were werewolves. I loved it. I hope the year continues just like this. I just jinxed it, didn't I?
