Marek raised an eyebrow "But, I saw them go through a village of several hundred in a few hours then head to a city with several thousand and heal it in but two days."

"That is where one of abilities that isn't known by many come into play. The reason it is called Dragon Arclight is because it was literally gifted to the Authoriantle household by a white dragon."

Marek stood up angrily "Stop pulling me around like a child and telling me false rumors and tell me the truth, I understand keeping secrets because we just meet, but I spoke honestly to you so . ."

He never got the chance to finish his sentence. Adrian had spun up and slammed his fist into Mareks solar plexus and then said "Drazamar does not lie and what he is telling you many good men and women have died protecting so you would do well to sit and listen to him." then slowly but ruffly sat him back down and went about making a cup of tea to replace the one Marek had spilt when he had made his outburst.

Marek looked at me still extremely unconvinced but remained quite.

"Thank you Adrian but I could have dealt with it." I told Adrian who shrugged and replied "I know but my way was quicker"

I nodded with agreement and then turned back to Marek.

"Now as you pointed out it is impossible for a dragon to gift an ability without gifting part of its soul well, which before you speak again I also know is too large of a power to house within a human's body. The White Dragons name was Thesious. You can find his name in the archives at the cathedral of Draggonmath is your like, he was a healer in the War of NightMares. The three-way war between Angels Daemons and Dragons with Humanity stuck in the middle. Thesious was ancient when my great great great great greattttttt- many more greats grandfather found him inside of a shard cave in his youth. The story goes that my great grandfather was blind from birth and when he happened across Thesious he though that the voice and power that he felt radiation off of Thesious was that of the Old Man of the mountant whom the local village had tales off. So, completely unafraid of Thesious my great grandfather just walked right up and started talking to him as if he were an old friend. When dinner time came he was given a strange snack from whom he thought was the old man of the mountain, so he ate it and went home for dinner. This pattern continued for moneths and then years until my great grandfathers family and friends began to believe that instead of the old man of the mountain being some sort of game for him that my grandfather was truly crazy so they through him out. Being cast out didn't affect him at all he went to Thesious who had become a good friend by know and asked what to do and Thesious offered for him to stay with him. After that, my great grandfather stayed with Thesious but would still wander into town occasionally buy supplies using the shards given to him by Thesious that grew in the cave. He would always over pay every merchant he bought from as to pay them back for the charity they had shown him as a child by feeding and clothing him knowing he would never be able to pay them back. Then one day a wondering Shaman from one of the desert nations came to the town and bumped into my great grandfather. My great grandfather apologized to him then bought some stomach salves for Thesious's stomach aches, still not knowing he was a dragon, and paid by such a large margin that the Shaman cured his eyesight right there on the spot using a bit of elven-glass to correct the problem within his eyes themselves. He was so happy he paid the Shaman enough to set himself up for life and ran back to Thesious and told him everything that happened. my great grandfather didn't even skip a beat when he saw that Thesious was a dragon. Once he finished his story Thesious asked why he wasn't surprised or scared. And my great grandfather being a simple and very unbiased person simply asked what else a Man of the Mountain would look like. Thesious's laughter was said to be so loud the villages for thirty miles thought that it was the sound of a long inactive volcano waking up.After that, they spent several days together before my great grandfather finally asked what snack he had been eating this entire time and Thesious explained that it was a gift. He had been eating small shards of his soul well for years. That gave my great grandfather a start. The story goes that Thesious was dying. At this time he was millenniums old but, also was dying from wounds that he had sustained in the War of NightMares and he had been looking for a successor, but had all but given up until one day a small scrawny little blind boy came into his life and sat down as if he was with an old friend or grandfather and never been afraid of him. There had only ever been a single other being who had not been fearful of him in the least. That being had been a human that had grown up to be the man known as Noireathal. The battle mage who could win any war could raise any nation or whip out any world, but one of his lesser known titles, but he swears one of his favorite, was bestowed upon him by Thesious. The title of Arclight Battle Mage, or The ArcLight Source."
