Troll Headcanons
Trolls can purr
Their horns are very sensitive, especially at the base. Sensitivity depends on the length, longer being less sensitive
They have scars that never fade from their trials as grubs
As they get older, their eyes began to take on the color of their blood
Highbloods' lifespan is longer than lowbloods'.
Trolls have stronger bones than humans.
Trolls can have black or even white hair, but white is very rare.
Lowbloods tend to have less intricate symbols
Seadwellers have thick hair that they spend hours trying to tame, that's why Meenah wears hers in braids
Trolls who don't wear their blood color are frowned upon
Their horns aren't very brittle, and it takes a fear of strength to break them. Something powerful must've broken Equius's
Grubs with primary colors have higher value for the paint business than those with, for example, indigo or orange
Their tentacles are the color of their blood
They have extremely soft hair that's very hard to pull out, like fur, and they even shed a bit
Landdwellers have pointed ears that turn downwards, while seadwellers have ears that stick straight up.
Seadweller ears' fins are nearly transparent and look completely see through in the sun

Seadwellers have a lm extra layer of fat to keep them warm underwater and have stronger bones to help them survive the pressure
When someone touches a troll's grub scars, it sends a shot of pain through them
Only Mustard bloods get the strange eyes that allow them telekinesis and other powers, the ones that don't get them have occasional visions. Most of them are driven insane
Trolls' freckles are sometimes the color of their blood, but they are usually black
Their tongues are a pale grey with their spit being their blood color
It is very rare for a troll to reach maturity
Seadwellers don't have toenails, it
would get in the way of swimming
Seadwellers have webbed toes, and they use them as paddles when they swim. They don't have webbed hands because they need to grip things and webbed hands would just cause problems.
Trolls don't usually get ear piercings because they have a lot of blood vessels in their ears, but if they don't care about spilling blood, then they would be able to get tons of piercings due to their big ears
The difference between male and female trolls is a fine line, the only real difference is in their voices and face shape
Females usually have nearly flat chests, exceptions being the Condece and the rest of her blood type
Trolls' lusus' rub off on them and they pick up certain traits, like Karkat's angry squat, or Nepeta's cat quirks
Trolls don't get periods
Every troll is expected to kill for any reason, those who don't are considered weak
They have thicker skin and bones than humans
They have retractable orange claws
You cannot see their veins under their skin
The lower on the hemospectrum, the warmer the body temperature
Trolls never had very good music on Alternia, they mainly had violent heavy metal screamo songs

Individual Headcanons
Gamzee has deep pockets he stores bits of candy in
Nepeta is plagued with severe cases of hat hair every time she takes her helmet off
Gamzee, Kurloz, Feferi, and Tuna's hair are unbrushable
Kanaya gets her chainsaw confused with her other lipsticks and color codes them to sort them out
Equius carefully combs his hair every day
Karkat is an insomniac
Cronus was very good friends with Mituna, even wanted to be moirails with him, before Tuna's accident
Peanut butter is the only thing that shuts Kankri up
Kurloz has a very low opinion of himself, and has the same self hatred problem as Karkitty
Terezi was the most enthusiastic about can town
TZ always keeps chalk in her sylladex
Mituna used to be a joker, the class clown. He was that one kid who did nothing but mess around in class, yet still had the best grades
Tavros once went through a rebellious teenage phase
Karkat doesn't cut, despite what many fanfics say, because he hates the sight of his blood
Vriska was always aware of Kanaya's red crush on her, but never decided to shut her feelings down because she's a jerk
Gamzee was the last grub to be chosen
Karkat and Terezi walk stiff and upright with short strides
Kanaya takes long, graceful strides and walked very stiffly
Gamzee has a loping, long gait and walks with his shoulders slouched and is generally very relaxed looking
