The Tale of Yoru (Naruto Fanfic)

The Akiyama Clan and how the tale begins....

•Third Person•

The last three remaining Akiyama clan members glide through the trees in the beautiful forests in the village Hidden in the Leaves.
A nice family with a stunning light blue haired mother, a brown haired father, and their little daughter with short, pastel green hair, jumping across branches inbetween her two parents.

See, you can tell they're from the Akiyama clan because they all have a similar trait that is very noticeable.
It's their nature colored hair, green, blue, brown.

The Akiyama clan is known for being very close to nature and that's where the roots of their jitsu come from.
They have a special transformation jitsu in which they can transform into an animal and copy ones powers along with other secrets too.

Your strongest type of animal transformation comes from your spirit though. Each member of the clan has an animal spirit inside them, what they're personality is like or who they are, what they'll become. They receive some traits depending one what their animal spirit is, too.

Like the blue haired mother, Akimi, with her animal spirit as a dove. She has angelic features and a little body that makes her like an angel.
The father, Mori, has a spirit that of a dog. Loyal to his family and strong to protect. Accompanied by some fangs and a good sense of smell.

And the daughter, Yoru, who's spirit is a fox. Sly, small, curious, and mysterious. Her round, dark brown eyes containing pupils that of a cat or other creature, in a thin slit.

As well, their animal spirits can show when they use their strong jitsus. Like Akimi, the mother, using one of her powerful jitsus, can spread wings like a dove. So on with the others and their traits.

But now that you have the jists of their clan and jitsus, we can follow the family in the woods again for the real story.

As the family hopped along together just out to enjoy the forest, they heard a noise of bushes shaking and leaves crawling. Someone was hiding...

Quickly, the parents jumped from the branches to the ground, their daughter following.
They got around her in a circle facing outward and both grabbed kunai from their pockets.

"Show yourself!" Shouted Mori, the dad of the family.

More rustling was heard and then 5 rogue shinobi men stepped out holding weapons.

"Well, well, well..." Hissed one.

"Looks like you found us," finished another.

"Quick! Grab the girl!" Shouted the lead one.

"No!" Yelled Akimi, ducking down to hide her daughter.
There's only one thing they want, thought Akimi, and that's Yoru so they can get our special jitsu.

Mori was quick to start fighting to protect his family as he took on two shinobi.

Meanwhile two others went to Akimi hiding her child under her arms.
Not my little flower, she thought, she's too young and delicate for this.

Akimi was quick to stand and protect her daughter as the two closed in.
If only Mori and Akimi had remembered the fifth shinobi, the leader of them when they started fighting. They were only facing four at the time.

"Mommy! Daddy! Help!" Screamed a little voice.

"Yoru!" They turn and say in unison to now look where their daughter was being held by the leader.

"No!" Screamed Akimi as she and her husband were distracted by their now kidnapped daughter.

"Be-behind you!" Screamed and sobbed Yoru she pointed behind her parents, but sadly, it was already to late...

The other attacking men that her parents had been fighting had already thrown the kunai and shuriken.

Phhhttt.... They sounded as they flew...

All of a sudden you hear the impact of the weapons and the distracted parents in their backs.

They cry in pain. Slowly dropping to their knees. Time seemed to move in slow motion as they fell forward connecting with the ground.

"Mom! Dad!" Yoru yelps trying to break free of the kidnappers grasp.

"No-n-no n-need to worry, flower. Other n-ninja from our village are on their w-way..." Akimi softly breathed to her child.

"Nooo!" Cried Yoru, the sound could probably be heard for miles of her whimpering.

"D-daddy l-loves you, my star.." Mori stuttered his voice drifting away.

"M-mommy loves you too, flower..." Akimi added the life draining from her.

All Yoru could do was struggle to escape the grasp of her captor as she watch her parents lie on the ground covered in blood with a dozen kunai in their back. Their life drifting away.

"Nooooo!!" Screeched Yoru so someone could hear her cries and help, she screamed as if she did it enough it would somehow bring her parents to life again.

Within a couple seconds before the bandits could take off with her, a young man in green flew and punched the man holding her faster than she could believe, letting her drop to the ground on her feet. While another white haired young man with an eye covered took care of the other four bandits quickly.
All Yoru could do was watch, she then noticed her parents bodies on the ground near her.

"Noo..." She whimpered this time, crawling up to them.

She sat in front of her now dead parents, the life drained from their eyes.

"Mommy... Daddy..." She whimpered looking at her pale mother and father.
The two young men who saved her, now finished with the enemy, walked up behind her with sadness drawn on their faces.

They looked down at the weeping little girl.

"Kakashi....." Softly spoke one looking at the other.

"I know Guy...." Replied the other one.

He then walked up to Yoru and crouched down so his covered face was even with hers.
"Hi...what's your name?" He asked softly

"Y-y-Yoru...Akiyama," she stuttered out, wiping her face of the tears and snot so she could talk and try to calm down.

"How old are you?" Gently asked the other one with black hair.

"F-five...." She was able to get out.

"Come on, let's take you home..." The white haired one spoke again.

He got up and picked her up putting the child near his chest.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and looked back at her parents.
"Momma... Daddy...." She whispered as he glided away from the site and towards the village with her.

Now she is 12 years old........
