Alpha Ashe had never expected to see so much whining in her pack. Everyone was usually very solid in their position and usually had no problems getting things done. They were almost always solid and never faltered. She had inherited the pack from her father, seeing as she was his only heir, and had maintained it for a little over 3 years now.
He had died in a massive fire along with her mother and countless others in her pack. They were fighting one pack her pack, the White Waters pack, hated more than rouges. The Blood Moon pack.
She had been attending school, seeing as she was only 16 at the time, and had to feel the disconnection of her family in front of all her pack mates. They felt it as well but not on the level she did. It was like her wolf was being taken from her very being.
Her wolf didn't come out for 2 whole years. She was crushed and so Ashe didn't force her to. She let her have her time to come to terms with the loss and with her new role placed upon her shoulders. Alpha.
She went straight into training to let out excess aggression. Her trainer, Todd, always pushed her way past her breaking point. But he also knew when to stop Ashe before she went over the edge.
Her last name is Ashe but it also stands for A-she. So she alpha. There aren't any female alphas anywhere in the world except her. And she liked it that way. People were always quick to judge her and underestimate her authority and skill greatly.
Her beta, Brett and his mate, Poppy had been very helpful. They had acted as if she was their own daughter. They helped mend her broken soul when all she wanted to do was die. She was forever grateful to them.
All along they had been like her family. Wherever a happy moment was, Brett was there, sneaking her candy before bed or tickling her. She held a special place in her heart just for him. He was like the dad she could no longer have.
"Silence!" Her voice booms. The command is strong and everyone casts their eyes down, showing her their necks. Submission. They submit to her authority. They are lucky she is in a decent mood.
"That is enough complaining from all of you. The next time I hear that all of you will go on drill!!" Drill is an intense workout. It consits of working every body part and by the end if you aren't collapsed on the ground you feel like your muscles are on fire. Ashe actually does drill with them. She likes to challenge herself.
"The decision is final, now get started."
They all move at once, keeping their heads low and if their tails were out they would have been tucked between their legs. Ashe loved seeing them cower. It made her wolf, Yora, feel very high and mighty.
"Don't you think you were too harsh on them?" Her best friend, Callie, asks, grinning evily. She's the only one other than Brett and Poppy who isn't absolutely terrified of her. Callie is also one of the very few Ashe can stand holding a conversation with. She helps remind Ashe of the good days.
Ashe laughs before shoving her friend. She needed to smile and Callie always knows just how to make her do it. Considering they had been friends since diapers.
"No! I went too easy on them." Ashe exclaims. "Now get your ass moving! You aren't excluded from training."
Callie groans before joining everyone else. Ashe crosses her arms and shakes her head before heading back inside. Before she can make it past the threshold a hand is on her shoulder, pulling her.
She turns around and growls at the male before her. He's shorter than her, standing at maybe 6'1 where as she stood at 6'6. She was always looked up to in the pack. I mean that literally and metaphorically.
