I have always be amazed by how fast things can grow, change and innovate.
"Ding!!" the sound hit me like a water balloon to the face, My spirit was excitedly energetic, even after an oppressively muggy elevator ride where a security guy firmly reminded a middle aged pakistani man, who wore a faded white turban, "NOT too Press the button." He didn't seem like the sort of guy who would disrupt but apparently he was.
"You are on the 125th floor of the Burj Khalifa," blurted out the emotionlessly toned robotic voice which sounded like it had come out of a star trek movie. As soon as the elevator doors opened, you were greeted by white, white and a big sign saying in bold black letters: You're about to enter the record books at 456 meters, Which i knew instantaneously was wrong because Taipei 101 is 501 meters tall. The entrance was rather modest even for a observation deck, there was a completely white hallway running through the middle of the floor which looked to have separate toilets for both genders and a emergency escape route, just in case.
We were shown to the outside were the view was incredible you could see for miles and the observation deck went right the way round the building, there were also telescopes that would highlight all sorts of thing in the city like; hotels, malls and shops. There were hundreds of skyscrapers but they were all grouped together, when we were lining up for the elevator there were images of the main trip at different times and all but 30 years ago there was nothing but sand and it was those images which reminded me that
