BOOM! A dodge ball slams into the wall barely missing me. I quickly scoot away from the spot I was previously standing at. Not many people are left in the game, and my team is losing. Another ball goes flying past me thrown by Laura. Laura is my arch enemy and there is no doubt in my mind that she is throwing as hard as she can. I pick up the ball and throw it at Jake but he ducks down and it misses hits the wall and bounces back at me. I jump and barely miss it.
As I turn to pick up the ball she throws it. The rubber balls used for gym smacks me in the back of the head and I fall over from the force. Jada rushes over to me to help me up. "Rowan are you okay?" I hear her shout. But it takes a second, everything is a blur. "I hope I don't pass out..." I think to myself.
"Exam time!" yells my science teacher Mrs. Woods. I am still dizzy from the dodge ball incident but science is my favorite class. I try my best to pretend nothing is wrong and fake a smile on my face. Mrs. Woods calls on Maddie to pass out the sheets. She stops at my table and whispers "Rowan, are you alright? You are acting really weird." Maddie is one of my other best friends and is an emotion guessing master. I should have known I wouldn't be able to fool her.
"Yeah, I'm fine just a little dizzy" I respond trying my best not to seem worried. After everyone has their test I read the first question. "Where does the blood enter the heart?" Easy I think to myself the vena cava. As I am circling in the correct bubble my head starts to pound. I look around and the room begins to spin. It spins faster and faster until everything is dark.
"Where am I?" I ask. I didn't expect a response.
