Part 1

My name is Jasmin, and I am 10 years old and I live in the UK.
I am originally from Syria, but there is a lot of things happening there, so I was sent here after my mother had died. Ever since I can remember, there has been war. There has been guns and bombing. I never really got any friends and I never really got close to anyone. If you ever did get close, it might have ended in tragedy. But now I am here, and nothing is like it was there. Yet, I am still rather lonely.. I dont see many as I am always inside this house, and I am rarely out, so I know no one.
I dont always like it here... I miss my family..
