Mission: Make HIM Notice YOU (ON-HOLD)

Chapter 1

"Hey,Ottavia! Let's play!" a boy shouted.

"What?" I replied emotionless.

"What're you doing? Reading all day? Let's play!" he insisted.

He eagerly pulled my hand but I am still not moving.

"I said I won't play. It's tiring." I said.

He stopped pulling my hand and made a silly expression on his face.

Then he sighed,"Okay.If you don't wanna play,I'll read with you."

"Huh?I thought you hate reading." puzzled,I said.

"Then I will love reading only for you." he flashed a carefree smile.

"You're stupid." I said out of nowhere.

"Let's read or I'll insist on making you play." he pinched my cheeks.

"Just stop pinching my cheeks. It hurts." I thrust my head backwards.HE then sat next to me and started to point out pictures in the book.

"Hey,hey. This ribbon looks pretty. It suits you better than this tie" he laughed and suddenly pulled the tie on my hair.

"Hey! Bring that back!" I shouted.

He came running and circling around me.

"Ponytail makes you look like an old woman. Try to tie your hair in half." he chuckled.

"Ottavia?" I slowly opened my eyes.What a dream.

"Once in a blue moon ka lang makatulog sa klase,ah.Nagcramming ka ano?"tanong ng babaeng medyo may kaiklian ang buhok.

"Nevermind." sagot ko sa kanya habang inaayos ang sarili ko.

Tumingin ako sa wristwatch ko. Shoots! Dali-dali kong kinuha ang mga gamit ko at bumaba mula 4th floor patungong first floor. Paano ba naman kasi, nakatulog ako dahil nagcramming ako sa projects. Tumakbo ako at huminto sa tapat ng Directress's Office. Why so sudden? Ano naman kaya ang nagawa ko at pinapunta ako dito? Hay..I took a grip on the doorknob and took a deep breath.

"Okay." I whispered to myself.

I opened the door and found the Directress, sitting on her chair, looking at me as if she's been waiting a hundred of years for me.

"Good Afternoon,Madame." I greeted.

She flashed a sweet smile as a sign of response.

"You may take a seat."

I sat quietly while staring at her.

"Ms. Arcana,may I ask a favor?"

Favor? Ano naman iyon? Anything wag lang about sa extra-curricular activities na may maraming tao. I hate socializing.

"Since it is a yearly activity, I want you to do a secret task."

My eyes widened. Ito na ang kinatatakutan ko. Inilagay niya sa desk ang isang photo ng lalaki. I shrieked internally. Siguradong maputla na ang mukha ko. Bakit ito pa ang papagawin niya?

"I'll name this secret task 'Mission: Make him notice you'." she smiled.

Kinuha ko yung photo na nasa desk. Kinikilabutan na ako sa mga mangyayari sunod nito. Ayokong tanggapin ito!
