She's beautiful like a bouquet of white roses, and I'm a wildflower overlooked by an eagles eye.

She's got a kick, a shot to wake you up in the dead of night, I'm nothing more than the spices that tingle your tongue- enough to where you like.

She's the Angel, I'm the Devil...second place never hurt as bad.

The way you talked about her like she held your world together with the way she laughed.

How am I supposed to compete with that?

Beautiful..pretty..stunning...all the things you call me, you once called her.

You're not to blame, I can see she once held a special place.

I've done the same- looked at Him full of passion and hate.

But she outdoes everything...

She won't ever be someone's second place.
