The cozy, and warm sleep in your new house provided the perfect engery for your first day at this new high school. Although you were quite nervous, you were determined to show who you are. You made sure your uniform was sleek, and perfect. No ruffles in the fabric could be seen, and you knew you would take good care of it. The colors intrigued you, so bold, and bright. You knew Seidou would be perfect for you.
After eating the last bites of your breakfast, you quietly slid out of the house. Your mother bid you goodbye, and handed you extra cash just in case of emergency. Although you carried your own cash, she always worried for you. You realized your brother had either overslept, or convinced your mother to stay for the day. You didn't care though, it was his loss, and the first day was your chance for an impression.
After a ride on the train, and a quick jog down a few blocks, you arrived at the gates of Seidou High. It looked like any other Japanese high school, yet had a more active air to it. It was clear their sports department was a leading roll in the school all together. Before stepping in you sighed to yourself, 'Let's get this over with, it can't be that bad right?' You gently ran a hand through your hair, and stepped inside. This was your first day here, and you couldn't mess this up.
The hallways were packed full of students, and you could barely slip your way to class. Many students mingled with eachother, and chatted about small events. You smiled to those who saw you, and it was a polite way of responding without interrupting their chats. However, some would accidentally bump into you without an apology. You didn't care for small rude behaviors, but it left a foul taste in your mouth. You headed on, until you felt a vehement ray of somebody's eyes on your back. It was unsettling, and quite intense.
You turned, to find the possible culprit. Only to be faced with a sea of turned backs, and tall figures. No one was staring at you. You shook it off, 'Guess my anxiety is just acting up, although I'm really not that tense' you thought. The sight of your first classroom was coming into view. Of course, your first class had to be math. Your thoughts were interrupted when a hard hand landed upong your shoulder. You panicked a bit, hoping it was no one you should be worrying about.
You turned to find a brown haired boy, with bright burning eyes, and a bold smile. He would be a pest. You lifted a brow, as he stared plainly at you before shouting in your face, "Haha, new student? huh?" Lightly patting your shoulder this time around.
"Uh yeah...My name is (Y/N)" you said back in somewhat of a stuttering manner. You weren't shy, or nervous at all. However his powerful, and loud aura distracted you. His smile widened, as he closed his eyes. You somewhat smiled, finding him quite adorable when you observed him more. He was like a new puppy with tons of engery.
"My name is Sawamura, as for you (Y/N), I'll call you....Phoenix senpai!" He shouted loudly, and a few students looked towards you both. Giving strange glances, and suspicious head tilts. 'So my name doesn't matter in the first place...wait..how did he figure out I'm an upperclassman?' You thought, while anxiously giving him a smile. You rubbed th e back of your head, and slowly shuffled back towards your classroom. He followed in suit, with enthusiasm.
"Ah that class! I knew you were an upperclassman, all of you look alike!" He laughed loudly, as you opened the door. You weren't entirely sure if you should take offense to his comment, so you walked on. You checked your phone for the time, you were somewhat tired still; however, you had nearly 20 minutes before class started. Which meant you had to deal with him that whole time. You lazily slid into your seat, and glanced at the boy. Sawamura sat directly next to you.
This is going to be a long day.
