Gemini: Tale of the Zodiacs

A Rainy Sin

The story goes as follows: a hero, a curse, problems, solutions, etc... well, my story is different. In another sense it will follow these rules but it will also be different. Welcome to my mind.- The author, Cameron D. Smith

It is a dark, rainy day. Rainy and gray, yet calm. The trees sway to the gentle breezes. In the distance you can hear a dog's bark and there are very few lights on in the street. I live in the town called Noremac, a medium sized town, which has a lot of people for some reason. It's usually noisy, but this day was strangely silent besides that dog barking.

The streets are void of people, except for one person walking home slowly staring at the ground with tears in his eyes. He always loved walking in the rain. That person's name is Sage, that person is me. I uttered my name over and over again down the street.

It was already bad enough that I didn't have my powers activated. I live in a world where everyone has different powers depending on their Zodiac and like the Zodiacs in people, their powers reflect their personality and their feelings. I however haven't found mine yet. You see I'm the last of the Gemini blood line. There was a war between Zodiacs long ago and the Gemini's got the short end of the stick. My parents disappeared years ago, so I feel as though I am the only Gemini left. I live my life in a world of enemies with little to no friends.

When I get home, I relax on my couch and try to calm down.Not long after, I begin to doze off. A few hours later, I wake up to the sound of someone knocking at my front door. It was a light tap, so I thought it was just some leaves hitting my windows or something. Again someone knocks. By this point I get up and check because I'm sure it's not Heisenburg. I ask "who is it?" and get no response. I repeat myself a little louder. Still no reply. I go back to sleep on the couch for it must have been my imagination. Once again,I am woken by someone knocking on the door. I go to open it and no one is there. Great. I'm hearing things. Now I'm paranoid so I secure my door tightly. I go to sit in my living room, but someone has already taken my place on the couch. It was a girl. I don't know how but she snuck in when I opened the door. She was wearing a black hoodie with crossbones on it and a seemingly innocent smile on her face. and abnormally clean blue shoes. She is also wearing a black beanie that's covering her blue hair that would make you star-eyed.
