Hey Neighbor

Chapter One

"I guess this is our last day together. said Maria.

"I guess it is." said Taylor.

Maria and Taylor have been neighbors for more than ten years and now they are both the age of sixteen. They have been best friends for a really long time. Now it has come to an end. Taylor moving will make everything different.

Maria looked down and sighed.

"Hey don't worry, we will see each soon again." said Taylor trying to smile.

"But do you have to move?" said Maria.

"I'm sorry Maria but I have to. My parents want to move so I have to go with them." said Taylor.

"But..." Maria was about to say something but starting tearing up a bit.
Taylor looked a Maria tearing up and had a frown on her face.

"Maria... Please don't cry." said Taylor.

Maria was crying.

"I..." Maria couldn't say anything because she was crying.

"Maria, I promise you we will see each other again. Remember we will always be best friends." said Taylor.

Taylor tried to hold her tears back. Maria stopped crying and looked at Taylor.

"I will miss you Taylor..." said Maria.

"I will miss you too Maria..." said Taylor.

Maria and Taylor hugged each other tight.

"I have to finish moving my boxes into the truck." said Taylor.

"Ok..." said Maria.

Taylor went back into her house and Maria stood outside.
