Chad's POV

I started chuckling along with my friends, without really knowing why they were laughing. "Man!! That was hilarious!!" said Cody wiping tears from his eyes from laughing so hard. Cody was the youngest of our group. He was a sophomore and only 16 about to turn 17. Also sophomores, are Alexander and Nathaniel (Alex and Thane is what they prefer) who were twins and 16. Ethan, Landon, Adam, Thomas (Tom), and me are all 17, our birthdays only a few months apart form each others, and are juniors. Then there is our group's oldest, Xavier, who is 18 and a senior. Xavier, Cody, Ethan, and the the twins are all cousins. Xavier's dad, Cody's mom, the twins mom, and Ethan's mom are all brother and sisters. Their grandparents had four girls and one boy, much to Jack's (Xavier's dad) disappointment. He was the oldest. Then Ginger (Alex and Thane's mom), Rebeka (Cody's mom), and Jana (Ehan's mom). The forth and youngest girl, ran off with a guy, it was like a forbidden love type of thing. It devastated the whole family. She was the baby of the family. The don't talk about her much. Adam is he only one who know the whole story. Including her name. That's right. Only the oldest of the cousins knows her name. I'm the son of the head honcho and I don't even know her name. I have never asked for it. It's like a unspoken rule. When the grandparents died she didn't come to the funeral because they couldn't find her. It was like she disappeared. She's alive they know that much. If she wasn't then her kid, the sixth cousin, would be living her with us. They know about he or she because around 16 years ago they got a letter with no return address. The letter had a picture of the daughter and her newborn baby, with a note. I don't know what the note said but I know it didn't say what gender the baby was. But whatever it was its the second youngest of the family. The youngest is Xavier's baby sis, Jacklyn (Jackie), who is 9. Yes I thought it was weird too when his parents announced they were pregnant. Well at the time I didn't but a few months after she was born I understood. Now she's growing up with a family full of boys. Her chance of being a pink kind of girl is slim to none. We are all very protective of her. Looking at my best friend Ethan, I noticed he was deep in thought, which doesn't happen a lot. He was staring at the door where Annabelle left. "Hey, Ethan." No response or even a twitch in my direction. "Ethan!!" Same thing. "ETHAN!!!!!" Still no response. Cody looked at me.

  "I got this." He smirked. He got on top of the table and cupped his hands over his mouth.

  "Attention, attention. I have something very important to tell all of you" The whole room became quiet.

  "When Ethan Wilson was 12, he dresses up, on Halloween as Bo-ugh." He didn't finish because right at that moment Ethan came to and tackled him onto the ground. His face was red and his hands where over Cody's mouth.

  "Dude!!! What the hell!!!!! You promised that you would never speak of that night!!!!" Cody pushed him off.

  "I knew that you would notice before I said anything." He smirked.

  "What if I didn't?"

  "Well lets just say that you would never be looked at the same way." Ethan got ready to go at him again but Xavier grabbed him and threw him into his chair. He pointed at Ethan.

  "You calm down, nothing happened. You were off in lala land and Chad kept trying to get your attention and you didn't notice. So Cody did something to get your attention." Ethan grumbled and glared at Cody. Cody laughed. "And you." Adam said while leveling a glare at Cody that has been known to make even me sit and shut up with no arguments. Hey I may be next in line or whatever but that doesn't mean I don't respect those who are older, bigger, and stronger than me. With him standing at a whopping 6 feet 10 inches, with 215 pounds of pure muscle and me only being 6'6", which is still tall, and 195 pounds of not so developed muscle, I have a right to be respectful to him. Cody suddenly became quiet and sat down quickly."Don't provoke him. You know how he is." Cody nodded. Xavier grunted and sat down. I looked at Ethan.
