As I wake up, with my stressed out eyes adjusting to the glistening sun outside my bedroom window, I slide out of bed with glee and head to breakfast.

As I walk through my narrow hallway, I see rugged and scary paintings hung up on the wall, as if they were crucified. It sent cold hearted shivers crawling down my spine with no mercy. I ignore this, and sit down at the dining table with my Brother, Sister and Mother.

"Good morning Grace!" My Mother exclaims, "Morning Mum." I said, giving a dull deliverance. "You look like you've seen a ghost! what's wrong?" She asked, "Just those paintings that are in the hallway, we could do with some nicer prettier ones!" "Well, whether you like them or not, Liam likes them, and that's all that matters." She proclaimed.
I stopped speaking to her, and continued eating my breakfast.

After that, Liam, Emma and I left for school. For the first time ever, our science teacher brought chocolates, then gave them to every group except for ours, because A smartass had commented on her weight inappropriately, which she did not take lightly.

After all that calamity, my friends, Lee, Molly, Dylan and I all walked to our area in the school. It was on the stairs, where we could see a wide perspective of the school. After five minutes of Awkwardness, Lee caught a fight starting to brew.

We all ran to the scene, trying to comprehend what happened and what was going on. With cringing punches landing on both schoolboys. A teacher ran out to stop the entertaining fight, but by the time he got there, there was a student with blood flowing down his face, and tears streaming down his cheeks, and the lower, flat on the ground with broken knuckles and ribs, and maybe a collapsed lung. Eventually the boy got expelled from the school for breaking the other boy's ribs.

By the time Liam, Emma and I got home, our Mother had started drinking again. Every time she does this, she attacks us. She lashed out at Emma, knocking her over and then she approached Me, hitting my face with her cane, knocking my tooth out. However, when she approached Liam, she just hugged him... tightly... crying... and she just... walked away.

"Why doesn't she love us like she loves him?" I sob quietly, and gain enough strength to carry myself to my loving bed. "At least my bed loves me..." I thought to myself. An hour passes. As I'm about to fall asleep, my sister, hastily rushes to my door and knocks on it.

She calls my name, "Grace?! Grace?!" "What?!" "We need to go!" As I confusingly shoot up out of my bed, I rush to the door, opening it ever so slightly. The crude and harsh creeks of the door hinges sparked my sister into a frenzy! "Shutup," she tells me, then she grabs my arm menacingly, then sprints down the hallway. Dragging me with her, I thought to myself, "What's going on?" By the time we get out of the house, there's 3 police cars pulling into our driveway, along with an ambulance, 20 Metres away. I sob at my sister, "What's going on?!!!"

She yells back at me, "Mum wasn't breathing! She was on the ground with blood everywhere!!! I didn't know what to do!!!" I fell to my knees in shock, bawling my eyes out. Then I realized... Where's Liam? I franticly rushed back into the house, terrified, I checked every room. No sign of him. I even searched the basement! There was no one there. I hurried back to Emily and asked if she'd seen Liam.

"No why?" "He's not in the house!" I cried. We asked all the officers if they had seen him, he was 4'11 and had strawberry blonde hair. He had a small scar above his eye and was roughly 30 kilos. No cop had seen Liam. We were trying to comprehend what happened but it was all too much... I passed out and violently hit the floor
