On Pride Rock Simba and Nala were basking in the sun on the Peak while Kion played with Denahi inside the den.
Sarafina and Sarabi were dozing and Vitani and Clea were watching the cubs.
Simba's eyes gleamed as he proudly observed his Pridelanders.
Nita and Rafiki were sorting herbs and Kovu had taken Kiara on a hunt.
Suddenly Zazu flew up to Simba anxiously.
Simba and Nala exchanged a glance.
"What's wrong" Nala asked.
"I was patrolling along the western border and I spotted what appeared to be rouge lions waiting" Zazu said.
Simba and Nala exchanged a glance.
"Find Kovu and Kiara please" Simba told Zazu.
Before Zazu could fly off Kovu and Kiara came thundering up to Pride Rock.
They rushed over to Simba.
"Daddy.. Kovu and I saw rouges on the border" Kiara reported breathlessly.
Nala padded over and curled her tail over Kiara's shoulders.
"We know Honey" She said.
Simba turned around and faced his Pridelanders.
" Vitani.. Clea protect the cubs, Kopa Kiara and Kion come stand with me and your mother, Rafiki and Nita stand next to Sarafina" Simba ordered.
Everyone scrambled to do as Simba instructed.
Clea and Vitani rounded up the cubs while Nita followed Rafiki over to Sarafina.
Kiara led Kion over to Simba and Nala.
Kopa followed them anxiously.
Simba's gaze flickered to Sarabi.
"Mom. What happens if someone questions Nita's bloodline?" He prompted.
"I explain that she's Dwala's daughter" Sarabi answered.
Simba turned back to Zazu.
"We're ready Zazu.. Go get them" He said.
Zazu instantly flew off.
