A Few Days After The Escape From Nagoya

Mika sat alone in the corner. He clutched his chest, panting. It had only been a few days since he drank Yuu's blood, but his hunger was returning. Yuu wasn't anywhere to be found, he was the only one he'd consider talking to about this. He looks up to see Shinoa and Yoichi staring at him. Shit.

"Get Yuu-san." Shinoa murmurs to Yoichi, he quickly runs off. "Mika-san, what's wrong?" Mika looks away, he wouldn't address the humans. "... Do you want blood? Yuu-san will be here soon if that's the case." She sat a few feet away from him. Mika looked away, he was disgusted with himself, now the humans knew about his vampiric urges. "You know we're your comrades, Mika-san? You can trust us. I know you love and trust Yuu-san, so try to trust us... Don't love us though, I've got Mi-chan for that." She smirked, then looked around, weary of her tsundere girlfriend's wrath. Mika was too preoccupied to react, although he did see that she was trying to help.

Yuu came running round the corner, skidding to a halt in front of Mika, Yoichi a few steps behind. "Mika?! Are you okay?!" He grabbed Mika's shoulders, staring him in the eyes. "Are you thirsty? Mika I told you to let me know!" He loosened his collar, exposing his neck. Shinoa quickly ushered Yoichi out of sight, following. Yuu embraced Mika, "Yuu-chan... I... I don't want to do this again." His eyes started tearing up, it hurt so badly, he was shaking. "It's okay Mika." Mika looked up at Yuu's green eyes, they were sincere and inviting. The eyes he fell in love with all those years ago.

Yuu wrapped his arms around Mika tight, not allowing him to escape. "I'm not letting you go until you bite me."
Mika mumbled "I'm stronger than Yuu-chan."
Yuu laughed, "Not like this, you're not! Now hurry up before this gets weird." Mika gave in. What was once more? And it was getting worse. He allowed his fangs to once more pierce Yuu's flesh. He hated it, but at the same time it was heaven.

He released Yuu, and in turn Yuu released Mika. Mika wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. "I'm sorry Yuu-chan." His eyes were sorrowful, Yuu's were bright. "Mika, I don't mind. Just tell me!" Mika blushed, Yuu had taken it so much better than he'd expected... well, than how the 12 year old Mika had been separated from would've reacted. Mika retorted "I'll try, although the taste isn't great. In fact it is awful." He smirked, he'd never tell Yuu how blood actually tasted. He was still getting used to it himself. "You know, of all the team's problems, I think yours causes me the most trouble... That was a joke by the way." Yuu extended his arm, "Well that's over. How about we go join the others?" He grinned. Mika grasped his hand, loving the connection of their fingers, even if they were covered by gloves.

They walked into a building to find Shinoa, Mitsuba, Yoichi, Kimizuki and Narumi talking in hushed voices. Once they saw Mika they stopped. They were not very subtle about their topic of conversation. "It's okay now guys!" Yuu announced, they looked relieved, whereas Mika blushed immensely, averting his eyes from the group, "Yuu-chan! That's none of their business."
Yuu frowned, "Yes it is; they're your comrades, and they care about you." He nudged Mika's arm, "And we can't have you attacking everyone like last time. Well anyone except me, if you know what I mean." Yuu winked, whole Mika just stared at him, betrayal on his face. The others smiled as Yuu continued to chatter. Mika stood further back from the group. He still wasn't exactly comfortable with the humans or his situation, but at least he knew Yuu would help them through both. At least for the time being.
