The City

I wake to construction outside not the norm for me. All of a sudden it hits me last night my flight landed and I'm currently in my apartment in NYC.

"ELLIE! Wake up we're going to be late to school!!"

"Ughhhhhh Cam. I've been awake. Can you close the window? That noise is so loud."

"Get used to it L that's the sound of the city." She says flicking her auburn eyes in my direction

"OK." I say as I get up and close the window myself

I look at the clock and realize she's right. It's 7:45 and my classes start at 8:30. "Shit", I Curse to myself. I'm gonna be late and it's my first day. What will my teachers think?

Quickly I grab a 'Ramones' tee, super skinny jeans and a heeled angle boot. Throw them on grab my bag and I'm out the door.

In the hall of out apartment building there's a problem with the elevator. "Just my luck" I think to myself as I walk down the 4 flights of stairs to the ground level of the building.

I run as soon as I saw a taxi coming my way but, all of a sudden a man with dark curly hair the same color as mine about to steal my cab. "stop!" I say and the man. He turns around. I fix my bright blue eyes on his green-ish grey ones.

"Yes." He says checking me out

"That's MY cab. I was hear first." Just as I'm about to say something else Cam appear behind me griping my shoulder as if she's telling me to "stop."

"The cab is yours Mr.styles" Cam says fear clear in her eyes

" It's fine. Your name? " he says looking at me straight in the eyes

" Ellie Patrick Taint, and yourself?"I say with suspicion

"Harry; Harry Styles and the cabs all yours L"

He gives me one more look somewhat lustful I think. Then walks off to catch another.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts entering the cab by Cam hitting me in the side. "Ouch" I exclaim "what's that for Cam?" I say rubbing my side to soothe the pain she inflicted. "That boy you just stole this cab from is Harry Styles the schools 'bad boy' and now he knows who you are." She takes a deep breathe and continues "Good job L, you're going to get yourself killed or worst on your first day at a new high school. I should've never agreed on you staying with me when aunt Helin brought it up!"

As soon as she finished her rant we arrive at 'Melbourne High School'
