Judy turned around and smiled at the fox she was trying to avoid. The grey bunny was thinking of what to say while the furry fox was walking closer. "I- I was just g- going to wait for you out- outside." She stuttered out.

Nick was wearing a smirk of amusement. "Well then, let's go?" He took Judy's paw and started dragging her to see the apartments.

They were all different, and the all the owners looked at them weirdly. Nick even heard a few slurs.

"A FOX and a BUNNY?!"

"Is he using her?"

"Poor bunny!"

"How they get along?"

Nick was angry at those animals and hoped Judy didn't hear. He looked down at the bunny next to him, he frowned. Her ears were droopy, her eyes were looking away from him avoiding eye contact and she just wasn't like her old self.

"Carrots?" He asked quietly and placed his paw on her shoulder. Her small body jumped at his touch. "Hey, are you okay?" Nick asked seriously and she moved away from him. "Carrots?" He was hurt.

"I don't want to make you look bad..." Nick's eyes widen, what does she mean by that? He gave her a questioning look when she glanced at him. "Those animals make you sound bad." She smiled sadly at him. "And you are not."

Nick smiled, walked closer to Judy and his arm went around her shoulder. Judy's face got hot and she became awkward. "You're such a dumb bunny." He chuckled. "You don't need to worry about me. It's me who should be worried."

"What do you mean?" Judy asked, not understanding what Nick is talking about. Why should he worry and about what? He only looked away, not saying anything and keeping a straight face. "Nick?" He sighed and smiled at her.

"I don't want you to hate or be scared of me." Nick said shyly. He really cares what Judy thinks of him, but he didn't really know why he cared. Judy looked offended. Why would she hate Nick? She even started feeling the complete opposite of hate

"I wouldn't have you." Judy smiled at him. "Even if you tried to make me." Nick smiled brighter and they both started laughing.

They continued walking, looking for a place for both of them. Some places were small, some places were big but finally; they found the perfect place. An apartment 20 minutes from work, two bedrooms, one washroom, a kitchen and a small living room. "We'll take it!" They both said together.

They ended the day late but both were satisfied. It was late and Nick insisted on walking Judy home. It was already dark and only some street lights were flickering. "Here we are," Judy said as they approached her building. "You really didn't have to."

Nick smiled at her a gentle smile. "I wanted to." He kissed her forehead. "It's nice having you as a friend." And he was off to his way home.

'He kisses me.'

'I kissed her.'

They both thought.
