Chapter 1: The Best Summer Ever

   Hi, I am Isabelle this summer had been the best summer yet. Although I say it was the best summer it did not start out great. Let me explain. At the beginning of summer I was okay I guess. I had just been really bored but nothing was going wrong in my life. Until my best friend, Krystal, introduced me to this guy named Adam.

  After Krystal introduced Adam and I to each other we had started talking and soon enough I called him mine. Everything had been great for about two or three weeks. We talked everyday and expressed all of our feelings towards each other.

  On almost our third week of dating Adam and I just stopped talking all together. We were still together but it didn't feel like we were from my point of view since we never talked. I honestly had a really bad feeling there was another girl involved. Of course Adam denied it all.

  I had a best friend who was a guy but he was a friend and I never called him "bae" or whatever like Adam did his "best friend". This is where you are going to think I am absolutely crazy for calling this the best summer ever.

  Adam and I had talked out our relationship and we were fine. For about two or three days. I really cared about Adam. Until I found out he was just playing around with my emotions and never had any intention of being with me anyways. I found out I was right about what I had expected. There were more than one other girl he was cheating on me with. It really hurt especially when he posted to the public about how he loved his other girlfriend.

  Here is where my summer turned around. My best friend, Alex, was there for me through everything that happened with Adam. He never once flirted with me while I was with Adam because he respected me enough not to make me choose between them. After Adam and I broke up it was like something hit me. I finally realized Alex had always went above and beyond to make me happy. Alex had always made me happy just in a different way.

  I was actually really happy Adam had done what he did. He proved to me I could do much better than him. After Alex and I started dating I was finally happy we talked every day unlike me and Adam who only talked every two or three days.

   Hey guys its Destiny. I just wanted to thank you for reading chapter 1. Although I had already written this chapter I did rewrite some parts of it to try to make it better. Although I had a hard time fitting this story together where it would fit in with the rest I am glad I have taken the time to do it.
