Alright so this is a story that I have tried to make interesting! BTW this is my first story ever so if you can give me some suggestions I would really appreciate it!
Characters:
Lakyn- main character, rich girl who tries to fit in but feels as though she can't. She's the prettiest girl in her school but she is shunned from everyone but her best friend: Ryan
Ryan- Lakyn's best friend, he is the star of the basketball team and likes Lakyn but doesn't know how to tell her
These are gonna be the two main characters and I will switch POV's by chapter. I will also add more characters as we go but for right now this is it.

Chapter 1: Knowing my worth
Lakyn's POV
3..2..1....buzz
Another loss, another awful game by the basketball team. I'm not trying to complain, because I love supporting Ryan( who is my best friend) but why can't our basketball team be good for once?
"Ryan, good game!"
"Lakyn you know that I hate it when you say that." Ryan says
"I know but I have to find something optimistic to say. I mean c'mon the team sucks, but your good so you pretty much have a good game ALL THE TIME."
Ryan laughed and said,"It's Friday, let's go grab a bite to eat."
As we go out to my midnight blue Bentley, I hear Ryan's teammates shout " Where you goin Ryan? You said that we were gonna go and party at Kendall's house!"
"Bro listen I'm a basketball player and I'm trying to get a scholarship. I don't think goin to Kendall's party is a good idea cuz everyone knows she's a rich bitch!"
As I listened to them argue i was slowly nodding my head. Kendall Mejesa was the smartest and most popular girl in school. I know a wierd combo right? Anyway, and she was the biggest bitch in the school!
The thing I hate though is that she GORGEOUS! She's biracial ( black and latino), she has the body of Megan Goode and she's applying to every freaking Ivy League!
The things I would do to have the things she has but not the bitch-rate class.
