Lisa's POV

We walked into ShadowMoon's pack territory.  I gulped as I looked around but noticed something. No one was in sight. But they came back, all the werewolves came back here, I know it!

"Is this even the right place?" Drake asked wearily.

The scent of the area was definitely familiar. Plus, Kazar lead us here. "Where is everyone?" I asked. Kazar looked around and sniffed the air. The scent of werewolves was fresh. Kazar didn't say anything and bent down. He moved his hand across the ground.

"They have been here. These tracks are very fresh. Where is the pack's meeting place? They could be there." Kazar said after standing up. He felt the soft dirt in his hands and let it fall down. I looked around for where the meeting place was. The building soon came into view. It blended into the trees, but not entirely. I pointed a finger to it.

"There." Was all I said. We all quickly ran over and barged in. That would of been very rude of us but no one was there. My eyes darted around the room in shock. "I-I don't know where else they would be!" I cried. Kazar sniffed the air and studied the room. Drake stood behind me quietly, like the confused scared boy he always was. Kazar picked up a piece of paper from the table and walked over.

"This looks like a map of something. Can you read it?" He asked handing it over. I took it from his hands and scanned the paper. The paper was a dirty white with a very messy drawing of what seemed to be the building we were in. An arrow pointed to the door of the building, but that was it. I cringed my eyes, trying to see if there was some kind of secret message in the paper, but there wasn't.

"Go to the door. Whatever this arrow is pointing to, it's the door." I said. It was the only thing I can think of. We walked toward the door and stood in front of it. It looked exactly the same, it didn't seem different since I last been here.

"Maybe there's a secret switch." Drake joked. He started to giggle at his own joke. I rolled my eyes.

"Hush boy! This is no joke. You either be serious and help us, or stay out of the way." Kazar stepped forward and hissed. Drake's eyes widened and he stepped back. I didn't bother to interfere this time. I stared at the door for a long time. This time, my eyes widened. I stepped back and looked at the stone wall surrounding the door.

"Drake's right." The words slipped out.

 "What?" Drake asked.

"What?" Kazar repeated. I turned and looked at them both.

I spread out the map and held it in front of their eyes. "Why else would a random arrow point at the entrance? The door is normal. It's the wall." I explained. I walked forward and started to feel the wall. My heart started to beat when I realized nothing was happening. The wall just felt like normal stone. No, I have to be right. Midnight whimpered. "Easy girl, we can find it. I just need to f-" CLICK.

All the sudden, a loud click was heard and the ground beneath us opened up. It all happened so fast. We fell through the hole all screaming. Well I was screaming. Drake sounded like he was, but I never heard Kazar's voice. I started to cough and tried to blow all the dust away. We had landed hard on the bottom. It was packed dirt. I heard Drake groan and Kazar coughing. "What happened?" Drake whined. Finally all of the dust cleared away and I stood up, using my hand to feel for a roof to make sure I didn't hit anything. I stood up fully.

"Stand up, we can stand perfectly fine under here." I said looking at the dirt roof. It was obvious, we had fallen underground. Drake stood up slowly but Kazar was already standing up scanning the area we were in. He felt the ground and walls.

"I'm guessing you didn't know about this. A secret underground hideout. That is very smart of your pack." Kazar grinned. "I hope they are under here." Kazar looked back up from where we came from. No light shined through. The hole had closed up. I looked back at Kazar.

"Because, I don't know how to get out of here."

DeathClaw's POV

Cassandra has fully taken off all the chains on me. I even caught her looking at my body but I growled. "Cassandra How do we get out of here?" She stared at me. I didn't know what she felt. It was obvious she hated her father, but would she really help me escape? Out of all the people. She didn't answer for a bit but then spoke up.

"Just follow me. Lord Dorcan has the whole place with guards and such. It's kinda impossible to get you anywhere. I'm trying my best here. I-I never planned this." She admitted. Tears came back into her eyes. She wiped them with her hand and sighed. "I never planned to run away from my own home."  I stared at her. I don't know what I stared at her with. Disbelief? Maybe it was sorrow. My mind was racing, I didn't know what even I was feeling at the moment. Cassandra looked up at me. She wiped her eyes again then grabbed my wrist. I looked up at her. She stared me down with her eyes and pulled me up. Her expression had change, she was no longer looking sad. Revenge seemed to steam off of her. I could feel it.

She walked up the stairs while holding onto me and opened the door ajar. She peered outside checking if the coast was clear. I guess it was because she opened it wider and led me out. She broke in a run pulling me with her when a couple vampires walked by the hallway we were in. We hid behind the wall as they passed us. "Does this place have cameras?" I asked. Cassandra nodded her head no.

"Father believes us vampires don't need cameras, our instincts are good enough." She replied. Typical vampires. They always think they're the best . So greedy and self-absorbing. Her head went around the corner and soon off we went again running through the halls, hiding from time to time. But it only got harder. It seemed more guards and vampires roamed the halls. It was almost impossible to go somewhere without being seen. And to top that off, I have been dripping blood for the past few minutes from my stomach. Cassandra wrapped it with a piece of cloth, then we had to go a totally different direction.

We were hiding in a doorway to let a vampire pass. Cassandra sighed. "I fear.." She paused to catch her breathe. "I fear this may be impossible. More vampires are reappearing everywhere." Her hands went over her face as she slid down the wall and sat on the ground. I couldn't tell if she was crying or not. Suddenly, a familiar voice made me whip my head up. I peeked my head out and saw Lord Dorcan and Edra walking along slowly.

"How can you not have it Dorcan?" Edra's voice hissed. Lord Dorcan looked annoyed as well as Edra.

Lord Dorcan smiled his devilish smile. "Edra my dear, I do not have it but I am working on it. The formula is almost complete. These are highly trained vampires in both physical combat and intelligence. We will have this in no time."

"Dorcan, we need it soon. I do not trust this Lisa girl. She may be just a weak werewolf, but imagine now if she's gathering an army." Edra replied. Lord Dorcan laughed.

"Edra, Lisa is no more than a mere human. She may be a werewolf, but her mind hasn't fully converted to being a werewolf. Why, she's still afraid of reality. I can see it in her eyes. Werewolves and vampires? She's still processing it." Lord Dorcan suddenly stepped in front of Edra blocking her path. "Lisa though, can be powerful as well. We capture her, and make her a hybrid as well. Capture the whole pack. We'll be invincible." He hissed. Edra widened her eyes at his remark. She seemed to agree. They kept walking forward.

"How long?" Edra asked with a straight face. Lord Dorcan just laughed.

"Edra my dear, the formula will be completed so-"

Edra, this time, stepped in front of Lord Dorcan with a menacing look. "Not that bat brain. How long until we tell him the truth?"

My eyes widened. Truth? Tell who? As if they heard my thoughts, my question was answered.

"DeathClaw will soon know of the truth. Not now, but he will."
