Help (xEngineer)

Heavy gave a satisfied grin, and crossed his arms. Sniper and Spy watched the entire scene with gaping mouths, and the cigerette Spy was smoking fell from his mouth.

"How is throwing the sheila gonna solve this problem..?"

Heavy gave a snort.

"Is how we do in Russia"

"Heavy, I 'ave dated several Russian women and I am quite sure zhis is not 'ow zhis wor-"

"Look! It's the Engineer!"

And all three men watched from a distance.

You rolled quite a distance after landing from your fall. You managed to scrape every part of your skin that was not covered in clothes, and you also sprained your wrist.

"Ooowwww...!!!"

With a groan, you tried to pick yourself up. Small pieces of rocks and sand were stuck to your scraped hands, and you winced when you tried to dust them off. It stung like crazy and you vowed to eat every sandwich Heavy would make for the next month.

You heard some footsteps behind you and found a very tired Engineer standing behind you.

"Ya'll can't seem to stay still today can ya?"

You gave a squeak and tried to crawl away, but the Engineer grabbed you roughly by the wrist and pulled you up to your feet.

"And now yer throwin' each other? Ain't ya'll got somethin' better to do than bother me?"

And the Engineer dusted the sand off of you as he angrily muttered other complaints.

You didn't know what to do or say, causing you to just stand frozen, unsure of what would happen.

After dusting you off, the Engineer gave a frown as he looked at your hands. He grabbed a tube of ointment from his pocket and lightly threw it at you.

"Here, it'll help the stinging. Now ya'll just leave me alone, got that?"

He turned to leave. Clutching the tube tightly, you panicked and spoke without thinking.

"Wait!"

The Engineer ignored you and walked on.

"No please! Wait!!"

"...."

"I like you!!!"

The Engineer's eyes widened, and the three men watching from afar hitched their breaths, watching in anticipation.

"You.. what?"

You mustered up your courage again.

"I really like you..!! I've been trying to get closer to talk to you all day.. but.."

Engineer walked up to you.

"Ya.. ya really mean that..?"

You nodded and stared at your feet.

The RED Engineer stood there, biting the inside of his cheek, trying to come up with something to say.

"Look.. Ah don't know anythin' about ya.. so..."

You squeezed your eyes shut. Here it comes.. the stinging rejec-

"Ah want ta get to know about ya before.. uh.. Ah.. well.. anythin' happens"

You looked up in suprise.

"Well.. this ain't know place to get to know a lady! Do ya have some time to meet up in town later at 6?"

You beamed and nodded.

"Well, Ah'll see ya later by that café with that big tree in front of it"

And with that, he kissed your cheek and ran off, making you blush furiously.

Sniper, Spy and Heavy ran over and cheered for you, and you all started walking back to base.

The RED Scout was holding a bouquet of flowers. Crestfallen, he watched you walk away with your teammates in the distance.

The RED Spy, Sniper and Heavy watched the scene with pity.

Sniper walked up and put a hand on Scout's shoulder.

"Ah.. well.. cheer up mate! There are a lot of fish out in the sea!"
