I Can't Believe That The Light Took You...

The warm hands comforted me as I shifted my body 360 degrees to face him straight in the eyes. His hair was in his face when I stared at the single strand of hair. I removed it from his face and pushed it to the side of his face, then his eyelashes twitched a little bit.

He opened his eyes for a moment and his blue oceanic eyes appeared, they were breathtaking to stare at. Suddenly he closed his eyes again as his long eyelashes appeared and he shifted his body closer to me. "Morning David." I said to him and he tightened his hands around my waist even more.

"Morning Honey." He replied with a smirk as he pecked me on the cheek. "Do you want to go out to eat or I can just make some eggs for you?" I asked him quietly.

"What if I don't want either of that?" He asked me and then he finally opened his eyes the whole way and he kept his eyes open this time. "Instead I want you Charity." I gave him an eye roll as I stood up from the bed and got ready. Soon he gave up and he ends up following me into the bathroom.

We've lived together for about 2 year and we've dated for about 6 year. It's our 7 years anniversary starting today!!

I finally finished dressing up as I walked down stairs with my red shirt and black shirt that had white curly swirls on it. When I got there I found David all dressed up in a plain dark blue shirt and a pair of black jeans. With his old lucky pair of black and white converse.

He grabbed my hand gently as he pulled me towards him," Aren't you fancy today?"

I nodded my head as I stared at him," And then there's you with your old conserves!" I grinned at him. "They're special Charity since when I meet you I also worn these old shoes." I said as my grin turned into a smile once again.

"Fair." I stated as we both headed to his car in the garage of the two story high house.

He drove the car downtown as I opened the window of the car door... I can't wait! This morning when I was brushing my teeth I needed some more toothpaste and I found a hidden dark blue box. So I opened the box for curiosity and I found a silver ring with diamonds on it. It's been making me nervous but excited at the same time all day.

Was he going to purpose to me today?

He opened the door of the car on my side as I stepped out of the car seat. He then held my hand as our fingers interlock together.

We both walked into a Cafe shop where I got my daily Iced Milk Coffee and he got his usual Black Coffee. We sat in a seat near the window as I stared out of it.

There was a flower store down the street that had beautiful flower and I wondered if there were any Lily of the Vally flowers there. I loved those Lilies mostly because of how they look like, they are white with petals that flow outwards and then inwards like a ballgown. They even face the floor instead of the sun like for real!

He walked toward me and the table, he sat down our two cups of coffee then he finally sat down. "Thanks." I said and cupped my hands around the cold cup of coffee.

"So I've been thinking and..." He stopped to stare at the store from the other side of the street. "Here I'll go get something first." He said with a quick smile on his face but then I grabbed his hands.

"Where are you going?" I said since I wanted him to just stay here, beside me. "Don't worry I won't die and it'll be quick." I gave him a set of puppy eyes as he leaned down and gave me a quick kiss on my cheek.

"I promise Charity!" He said with a glowing smile as I let go of his hand.

I regret it... Don't go!

He went out of the shop and crossed the street as he arrived at the flower shop. He didn't know that my eyes were following him but they were. He bought a bundle of some Lily of the Valley and some Baby breath to go with the flowers.

He got it wrapped up as the clerk handed him back the bouquet of flowers and he headed out the door of the shop. He carried the bouquet and a giant smile on his face as he a crossed the street...

And so the light caught him...

... Even I can't believe it myself
