“Wow, darling you look beautiful. You are one amazing looking bride, my daughter,” my mother said as she walked into the room where I was struggling and assisted into the big heavy dress and tall, tall heels. There I was in front of a seven-foot mirror, staring back at my full reflection as I admired the beautiful white gown with beautifully insane lace detailing and twinkling glimmering stones. “This is what I wanted” was the phrase that kept repeating itself in my mind but yet my heart constantly repeated, “then why aren’t you happy.” The more I felt it the more I realized, my heart was right I wasn’t happy. I was confused and worried and sad. I had come to the conclusion that I was about to marry the wrong man.
My heart pounded loudly as I stood behind the church doors waiting for them to open. My hands holding the bouquet began to sweat. And my eyes were filling up with burning tears. The music began to play then the doors slowly opened revealing the guests and my soon to be husband. He was at the end of a long, never-ending pathway. My father was holding my arm with a tear or two trinkling down his cheeks, then we took the first step. “She looks stunning”, “I cant believe she is all grown up”, “look at her dad he is tearing up”, “awww”, “gorgeous”, said the guests as I was walking down the isle to the beat of the well known Wedding March. We reached the end and I was handed over to the man who is said to be the one I will love for eternity, the one that will be there through thick and thin, I slightly smiled trying to hold back my tears. He was handsome very handsome actually, he had strong cheekbones, pale skin and deep ice blue eyes. “Elise, my love, ever since I met you, I knew you were the one,” he began saying as he held my hand and looked straight into my eyes, “you caught my attention that day you were sitting in the game room playing Call of Duty, kicking everyone’s ass,” as I let out a small giggle I turned to the guests and there he was the man, the man who I had once called my true love, my life, my everything, he was there in the distant end of the church looking straight back at me and into my eyes. “I cannot imagine my world without you, I love you Elise,” Jacob said which sounded to me as a far soft mumble and he continued on with his vow. Then I caught myself looking back to the guest once again in search for him, his eyes I could see were full of pain and sorrow yet at the same time full of furry and rage. I stared at him with a in hope that maybe, just maybe, he would begin to walk towards the isle and interrupt the ceremony or do something crazy and stop me from making this terrible mistake, but he didn’t. My attention was brought back to Jacob for a few seconds and there I was again with my sight right back to him, to Ezio. As our eyes continued to meet it was as if I was taken back in time, to the memory of our story.
