Marinette's POV

I wrapped my arms around Adrien, he practically melted in my arms. His head down he looked as though he was about to cry. "Whenever you need to talk I'm almost always here, I won't tell a soul what you say to me." I whispered into his ear a patted his back slightly, a small faint grin played on his lips. I don't think he's ever said anything like this to anyone, not even Nino. "Y-you can come here whenever you want to, if you ever fell down just text me I'll get you my number." I reached over and grabbed a sticky not pad and a pen. I scribbled my number down and handed it to him. his green eyes widened.

"T-Thank you, for everything you know." He stood up quickly. "I should go before my father throws a fit." He chuckled nervously, his hand scratching the back of his head.

"Its fine, wait here." I grabbed a croissant and put it in his hand. "Oh shoot I gotta watch the bakery." I mumbled the last part to myself as my mom yelled that she's leaving.

We walked down stairs and to the bakery, it's packed.

"I can stay a but longer and help if you want." Adrien offered.

"I-I've got it, you should go home, your d-dad and all." I walked behind the counter and watched as he followed quickly behind, a small smile sweeping across his perfect cheeks.

"It'll be fun!" He replied and greeted a customer.

Adrien's POV

She nodded, her eyes gleaming in amusement. She reached over to a hook and grabbed two aprons covered in flour.

"My parents already made extra pastries incase we run low." She handed me an apron, our hands brushing slightly causing her cheeks to turn into a pale pink.

I put the apron on as she did her own and we walked to the back of the counter. "So when do your parents come back?" I asked trying to make conversation.

"Well we close the bakery around 6 and  then they should be home by 7." She bit her lip as she pondered something, then shook her head slightly glancing back at me. God why does she have to be this cute?

"I will stay until then." I replied quickly as I bagged a few croissants, handing them to the woman as Marinette rang her up.

"Once we close we get to eat all the leftovers." Marinette smiled to herself as she stared at the delicious sweets in front of her.

For the next hour or two we talked, laughed, told embarrassing secrets. We were just so open and trusting of each other. The first real and well only friend I've had has been Nino but now I feel as though I'm complete with Marinette.

"It's time to close up shop," She grinned as there were no more customers.

"I should probably be going then, I'll see you at school?" I asked, knowing she'll be there.

"Of course." She replied, casting a glance in my direction, why is she so cute?

"Ok, see you tomorrow!" I grabbed my bag and walked out the door, hearing it lock behind me. My house was only about a ten minute walk. I admired my city as I walked home, the Eiffel Tower towering above everything else. Before I knew it I was outside my door, I frowned, my father will be mad. I opened the door quietly and snuck past the workers. I slipped into my room and laid on my bed, recounting how perfect my day has been.
