My time with Clockwork

Chapter 8: Michael, Clockwork and Steven

After the date, i decided to take Clockwork to meet an old friend of mine who lived in Kanto. She was very excited. "Who is your friend honey?" She asked. "Patience my dear." I said. "You'll see." As we headed to Kanto, Clockwork was becoming more and more excited. Then, we reached Lavender Town. Clockwork was scared, she held me tightly. "Don't worry honey, I have my special protection mechanism." I said, pulling out a pokeball. Clockwork looked confused. I threw out the pokeball, and out came my trusty Vulpix named Flare. Flare was my female Vulpix. She never lets me down. She wasn't afraid of the ghosts of Lavender Town. She simply scared them away with her fire. Even Buried Alive, who lived at the top of the Pokemon Tower, was scared of Flare. As we continued through Kanto, Clockwork was asking lots of questions. Until we reached Pallet Town. I was looking for the right house, when Clockwork called out something. "Who lives in that house over there?" She called. I looked over to where she was pointing. There was a house on the outskirts of Pallet Town. There was tall grass and stones surrounding it. "I'm not sure, but we can look." I said. We hopped over the stones and walked through the grass to the door. I knocked, no answer. I slowly opened the door. The house was pitch black. Then, we heard a voice. "Who's there!?" Suddenly, from the darkness, a white smile, and two red eyes. The voice was scary. Flare and Clockwork hid behind me, even I felt afraid. The red eyes and smile started to move closer, then the smile turned into a shocked expression. "Michael? Is that you?" The voice asked. "S...Steven?" I said nervously. Steven turned on a light, and revealed himself. Steven smiled again. I smiled to. It had been years since I had seen Steven. "You certainly have grown Michael, my little buddy." Steven said. "You certainly changed to Steven." I said. Steven sighed. "Its a long story." He said. Then, I saw something shocking. A zombie - like Charizard. "Is that...Miki!?" I said in shock. "It is." Said Steven. "My brother Mike had killed her several years ago, I had to use, IT, to bring her back." "IT?" I asked, confused. "Missingno." Steven said. Miki looked over at me. She seemed happy to see me after many years. "Oh, Steven, this is Clockwork. She's my girlfriend." I said. "Hello Clockwork." Said Steven. "Hello Steven, its so nice to meet you." Said Clockwork. While the two talked, Flare and I went over to see Miki. Miki smiled and gave me a big hug. Miki's hugs always made me happy, even if she was a zombie. Flare jumped into the hug. It was good to see my old friends again.
