Lauren was walking through the halls of Lincoln Highschool and ignored
All of the colorful posters lining the hallway advertising many things such as musical sign ups,and when cheer leading practice was. Only one poster stood out to Lauren on that particular day and it was no different than the others,but I guess you could call it faith.Lauren thought that just a glance wouldn't hurt,and as she took that tiny glance her jaw dropped and she squealed in the middle of the hallway. She looked around and nobodyu was watching so she pulled ,out her phone and took a picture of the information: The Beauty Gala win best dressed and show off your moves.She texted it to her friend Shea and Shea asked her what's the prize? Karen responded with another picture that stated that the grand prize was a chance to be on Lauren's favorite show Lights,Camera, Fashion!Shea responded with a video of her squealing loudly.

Lauren and Shea were at ythe mall strLaurenfor outfits.Shea was going on and on about how Lauren needed to enter the competition and how Laurwen had the perfect face and body structure and how she had to do it because she was too busy. Lauren headed over to the only place in her town that sold designer dresses for Low prices. Shea was in heaven running around touching all of the dresses. Lauren and Shea finally decided on a black dress.
🏠🏡BACK AT HOME🏡🏠
Lauren spun around looking at the dress swirling in circles around her waist as she spun around in circles in her new dress.Her mother walked in with a basket of clothes and looked at her daughter quizzically and said in confusion "Did I forget about another school dance?I'm so forgetful, I mean I swear that I'm losing my mind or maybe its just old age or maybe I need to see a doctor.... Anyhoo what's ythe dress for!" After Lauren was done snickering about her mother's nonsense she showed her mom the picture and told her about the contest she and her mom went downstairs and watched a few episodes of Lights,Camera, Fashion. Lauren could almost see herself as a model for the famous designers outfits her favorite designers were Betsey Johnson and Roberto Cavalli they only made the most gorgeous dresses and she had done much research on them. If she won the contest she could finally wear one of Roberto's works and show the world what she's got. This is what she told her mom but she didn't seem convinced."Honey I know how much you want this but think what if you lose!Then what?You just sit in your room convinced your a failure and not good enough?How do you think those models are? There snobby divas! They're created to be like that by the designers! So my answer is no!!" Lauren just stood there with her moiuth open staring blankly at her mother. "Now go to your room! And shut your mouth you'll attract flies. Now tomorrow I want you to return that dress!" Lauren ran down the hall crying feeling so many emotions at once anger, fear,sadness,and jealously. She grabbed her suitcase and put all of her toiletries,and other items in it. She popped the screen out of the window and shoved her suitcase out of the window. Lauren remembered the dress and put it back in the cover and took a flying leap out of the window. She heard a knock behind her and she took off running. About a mile away she stopped and went in to the forest and sat down on top of her suitcase to cool down,but she found that soon impossible since she was baking in the Miami sun. She arose and went to find where she was,and found that she was at an abandoned campsite. Lautren decided she would stay because there was tents for shelter,and a lodge full of food that she found didn't expire until next year.

Lauren woke up the next day asleep in a sleeping bag. Today was Saturday so it was competition day! Lauren had taken her unlimited credit card that was a gift from Shea. She went to Ulta which was a long walk. After Ulta she went to a bunch of beauty product stores.She went back to the site and got ready. She was taking a shower in the public bathroom and prayed she would win the challenge.

Lauren was ready. It was her turn next . She sucked in a small shuddery breath. She could admit it she was nervous."Next!" Yelled the security gaurd . Laurn stepped on to the stage with on my one thought running through her head. And strut qwnd strut and pose and again and again okay good.

ALauren was excited that it was over shehung out with other kids waiting for the dance competition to start. Her favorite song blasted through the speakers just as they announced that it was time to dance. Lauren she ted to dance and sing.
🎤THE BONUS ROUND🎤
After the dance competition they announced that there was a bonus round,a singing competition.Lauren reacted quickly nervously staring at people and plastering a big smile on her face. They announced that they were picking the person in the lead so far to be first,and the called up Lauren. Lauren gasped and ran upstage with her heels in her hand.She asked for her them to put on Panic!At The Disco. She sang along while people didn't seem to notice or care about it. Lauren stepped off the stage and the next went up and sang a song from the new album Badlands
And another sang Charlie Puths One Call Away and so on. Finally they announced that the winner was....
