Chapter 1 - The Start of Maggie Charms

Small door opens into the room of Maggie Charms. Maggie's mom Jenna walks up to wake up Maggie sleeping in her bed.

Jenna: Maggie, sweetie? Time to get up!

Jenna leans over her.

Jenna: You're friends are here, Maggie.

Maggie gasps and gets up quickly.

Maggie: Oh, no! My friends! Yikes! I've gotta get going! Their going to be so mad at me for being so late! Mom, why didn't you wake me up?! Is the alarm broken or something?!

She puts her shirt on, realizing something.

Maggie: Wait a minute. Since when do I have friends over, when I don't have any, and it's vacation. Not funny, mom!

Jenna: I thought it was funny. But now that I think about it, that wasn't funny.

Maggie yawns, and climbs back into her bed.

Maggie: I'm going back to bed.

Jenna: Maggie, you were up to late last night again, what were you doing?

Maggie: I was doing some reading.

Jenna finds Maggie's multiple books on the floor, picks two up and reads the titles.

Jenna: Hm. "The Knights Code, Magic for Beginners". This is all medieval stuff pretty
weird for a girl to like, huh Maggie.

Maggie: It is not weird, okay? I just feel like I'm supposed to be something like this.

Jenna: Anyway, now that school is over, you can help me in the shop. Maybe make
some friends.

Maggie: Okay, mom!

In the Kitchen, Maggie's Uncle Jacob is reading the crime reports.

Jacob: Good morning, sunshine.

Maggie: Morning Uncle Jacob, what's the summer vacation update? Can I go with you this time?

Jacob: When you're older, you can come to a report at the station with me.

Maggie: How old is "older"? I'm already old enough, Uncle Jacob.

Jacob: You maybe old enough but you're still my little niece.

Flashback to when Maggie was a small child.

Maggie: Uncle Jacob, please!

Back to reality.

Jacob: Listen. In three days, we'll all be going to the city together, like we do every year. Hey you can invite some friends to come with us this time.

Maggie: You I'm not that good in the friend department, I just feel like there's something special for me to do, but I just don't know what?

Jenna: Something special, huh?

Jacob: Well I do have an undercover report that you can do and for that, you need your  wheels.

Maggie: Mom, Uncle Jacob, really letting me do report?!

Runs outside of the House, she grabs her bike helmet and gets on her bike.

Maggie: Already let's do this

Jacob : Nice, alright their have been a scene of small thieving at the park find out who doing it Maggie?

Maggie: Thanks, I'll see ya later.

Maggie starts riding her bike down the streets towards the park.

Jacob: See, Jenna? She's back to normal. Ah Jenna?

Jenna: I can see that. But, I think I know what she was expecting something to do.

Jacob: A car wash?

Jenna: Ugh, something magical, Jacob. Just like her father.

Mike: Wha - you think she's going to be like him.

Jenna: She's at the age, she's keeps reading all her father's old books about knights and magic spells, she's growing up to be like him and today's the day for it to happen, I just hope Merlock will be their to help her.
