Christina didn't have any classes the next day, so she slept in late. When she woke up, she logged into Facebook, she got a notification. It said,"Message from Nick Reali," Her heart stopped. Why was he messaging her? She opened it.
Nick Reali: Hey! You're Christina Cimorelli, right?? My sister actually told me about you. You're in her pyschology class right?
Christina almost laughed. 'You're Christina Cimorelli, right?' Why else would she have her Facebook name as Christina Cimorelli if it wasn't her name? However, she decided to respond.
Christina Cimorelli: Uh, yeah... My name is Christina Cimorelli, hence my Facebook name being "Christina Cimorelli".
As soon as she hit send, she felt bad...The kid was just trying to be nice. Before she could type something else, another message popped up.
Nick Reali: My sister's right...you are sassy.
Christina Cimorelli: WHAT SHE SAID THAT!?!?!
Nick Reali: Whoa, no, she didn't, relax! Boy, do they need a font for sarcasm...I take that back, okay?
Was he for real?
Christina Cimorelli: Wow you're so funny I forgot to laugh.
Nick Reali: Wow actually, I don't take that back. You are sassy.
Christina Cimorelli: Wow, that means so much, thanks.
Nick Reali: No problem <3
Christina laughed loudly and Amy, who was walking outside her door, came in.
"What are you laughing at?" asked Amy. She narrowed her eyes at Christina, who quickly shut her laptop.
"What, nothing," she said. Amy sat down on her bed and giggled. "What?"
"Come on, Chrissy," Amy said. "I can tell it's about a boy. You have that same funny look on your face that you had with uh, you know, the other one. I can tell you at least like talking to him,"
Christina rolled her eyes. "Please, Ames, you're 13, what do you know about boys?" Amy smiled mischievously.
"Alot more than you think," she said. Christina smacked her.
"Amy!" she exclaimed.
"What?"
Christina laughed. "Do me a favor and get out,"
Nick Reali: Christina? You still there? Or will you respond if I call you Ms. Sassy?
Christina Cimorelli: Shut up :)
Nick Reali: So, I hear you're a singer?
Christina Cimorelli: Yep. I'm in a band with my sisters.
Nick Real: So I've been told. Explain them.
Christina Cimorelli: What?
Nick Reali: Your sisters. What are they like?
Christina Cimorelli: Oh. Well, I'm the oldest sister so naturally I'm the bossiest haha
Nick Reali: Bossy sisters. I know what that's like. Tell your siblings that I feel sorry for them.
Christina Cimorelli: Ha Ha very funny. And then there's Kath. She's kinda like the eighty-year-old stuck in a seventeen-year-olds body. But we're very different and we clash alot.
Nick Reali: Why?
Christina Cimorelli: Different personalities. Don't get me wrong, I love her, but we are so different. It's hard to believe we're sisters sometimes.
Nick Reali: I think I can relate. I'm usually very outgoing, and my younger sister Abbie is an introvert. We're just different people.
Christina Cimorelli: Yes, that's EXACTLY what I mean :) And then there's Lisa. She's a very philosophical fifteen-year-old... She's also very quiet and kinda a social hermit crab. She just kinda sits home and eats. She also has scoliosis and she has to wear a brace for it...She hates it...and she would kill me if she knew I was telling a boy this.
Nick Reali: Don't worry about it :) Not like she can control what genes she gets.
Christina Cimorelli: Lisa would like you. Then there's Amy. She's thirteen and she has turner syndrome. It's not really noticeable, except she's really short. But, anyway, she's really bubbly, and it's kinda hard not to smile around her.
Nick Reali: I always like a good smile.
Christina Cimorelli: :) And then there's Lauren. She's kinda like Lisa, in the way that she's really quiet.. But she's really mature, except around Dani... And her voice is so good for only being being 11. And I see alot of myself in her.
Nick Reali: A mini Christina. I'm not sure if that's a good thing.
Christina Cimorelli: Look who's talking ha :) Then there's Dani, who is the most hyper child I've met.. She's a little nine-year-old fireball. She gets on my nerves sometimes though. She's also upset about not in the band, yet her voice isn't ready yet. And...that's it. My brothers are a WHOLE another story.
Nick Reali: Well..You were very open about that..
Christina Cimorelli: Why is that a surprise?
Nick Reali: ... Eh, most girls aren't like that..
Christina Cimorelli: Is that a good thing?
Nick Reali: Yeah, I think so :)
Christina Cimorelli: Well, thanks for being...such a great listener.
Nick Reali: I'm all ears :D Well, I'd love to hear about your brothers one today.
Christina Cimorelli: :) And I'd love to tell you about them.
And she wasn't just being nice.
