Chapter 1: Your Own Kind of 'Date'

You are friends with Farlan and Isabel. With Farlan and Isabel being extroverts, it wasn’t hard for you to get comfortable with them even though you’re an introvert type and very awkward when it comes to making new friends. Since they hang out with Levi, your current crush, you pretty much hang out with him now too, somehow. After a few weeks of going out with them, Farlan noticed your attraction towards his best friend Levi. And man he took advantage of it.

“ F/n don't forget this Saturday. Mountain climbing, let's meet up 6am at the usual place. You better show up and ON TIME or you’re dead. Got that?” your friend Karla threatened you.

“Yeah yeah I will”, you lazily replied.

You were hanging out with your best friend Karla and by ‘hanging out' you mean lying around and doing nothing but surfing the net as your usual way of killing time.

“Haaaa…why is my life so miserable? Is being THIS pretty so intimidating? What a pain” your best friend loudly sighed, complaining about her situation.

If this was two months before, you would have said the same thing. Instead, you rolled in bed now lying face up to the ceiling. You stared blankly for a little while with your arms widespread, completely abandoning your previous distraction which was your phone, before you replied,

“Well, I told you to find someone already”

“Easier said than done. Unlike you, I have no crush to worry about”, she exclaimed before the room fell silent.
The silence went on until your phone beeped, abruptly breaking you from your thoughts. You opened the message and read that the sender was no other than your friend Farlan.

Hey, we’re going to watch a movie tomorrow 6pm. Wanna come?

Before you could reply, another message popped up on your screen and it's from the same person.

I mean you should come. See ya! XD

Now you have no way of refusing that guy so you just replied okay.

So your agenda for tomorrow is to watch a movie then the day after tomorrow is to go on mountain climbing with your best friend Karla

It was still 5:45 pm when you arrived at the meeting place and you thought that you were the earliest since of course you’re ‘kind of' excited to see your (crush) friends.

But to your surprise, Levi arrived first.

You were reluctant to say hi because you think that you’re not that close with him yet. So you debated with yourself.

When you were busy arguing with your brain whether you talk to your crush or not, Levi already decided to speak, the moment he noticed your presence.

“Oi”

You were taken aback and slightly panicked when you heard his voice but thankfully you managed to say “Hello” to him.

“You’re early”

“So are you”, you replied before the two of you fell silent.

The silence went on for minutes. But strangely it was not that uncomfortable. Minutes passed and when you checked your watch, it was already 6:15.

“Ugh, what’s taking them so long?”, your companion questioned, slightly pissed.

Right after you heard him say that, you took your phone out of your pocket and went to dial Farlan's number first and when no one answered, you started dialing Isabel's number. You slightly turned your head to see what Levi was up to while you waited for the other line to answer and you saw him reading something from his phone probably a text, with his eyebrows furrowed. Isabel too did not answer. You were about to dial Farlan's number again when you heard Levi say,
