Goodnight

Sally and Radio.

Run, was the only word that was going through my mind. Run faster. Run or else they will catch you. I didn’t know where I was running to or how long I had been running. My body suddenly gave up on running and I scrapped my elbows when I fell to the ground. I looked behind me to see the pack of wolves stop running, and they were now slowly walking towards me as if they were teasing me.

Fear overwhelmed me and i couldn't run anymore the only thing I could do was to crawl backwards. My back touched a wall telling me I couldn't go any further. I look at my surroundings to see I have ran into an ally way. One of the wolves came closer to me getting ready to attack me. This is it I am really going to die now. I close my eyes and shield myself for the incoming attack.

Nothing. I felt no pain in my arms or anywhere at all. I open my eyes to see a man standing in front of me with two swords in his hands. He had killed the wolf that was going to kill me. In a quick flash he killed the pack of wolves that was chasing me. The man’s back was facing me so i couldn't see his face. I was about to speak up until he turned his face towards me, looking at me. His eyes were green and they seem to look like they were glowing . He was very pale but it goes nicely with his blonde hair. Then and there I made the decision he was my guardian angel. Then he turned his face and started to walk away.

"Wait I-’’ I was cut short when i felt pain in my foot. I look down to see I somehow twisted my ankle when I fell. I look up to see if the man was there and to my surprise he was walking towards me. He looked down at me for a while before picking me up like you do to a princess. I kind of freaked out when he suddenly carried me.

He placed me down on a rock and then looked at my ankle. The man got up and turned around, and got back down. I look at his back trying to figure out what he wants me to do.

"You want me to ride your back?’’ I ask and he respond with a nod . I got on his back and I wrap my arms around his neck, and he got up to started walking.  He carried me to this building that was kind of destroyed, then again lots of buildings are like this after the war. We got into one of the rooms, and he sat me down on a chair and left. He came back with a bandages and wrap it on my twisted ankle.

"T-thank you. " he nodded and got up again to walk away. Say something!

"Wait I never got your name. I want to thank you properly!’’ I got his attention since he came back to me and sat down in front of me. He just sat there and stared at me, making me uncomfortable.

"W-well let me start off first, my name is Sally. Now it’s your turn’’ i smiled but he still look at me as if i spoke a different language.

"Don’t you have a name!?’’ he just nodded agreeing with me.  I look around the room looking for any possible ideas for his name. I notice that he had a radioactive sign on his right shoulder.

"How about Radio!?’’ he nodded, liking the name.

"Yay! Well thank you for saving me Radio, and it’s nice to meet you!’’ I hold out my hand for him to shake. He got up and shook my hand then patted my head.

"Nice to meet you too, shorty.’’ Radio spoke!

"It’s Sally, not shorty!’’ Radio shook his head no, and walked away. He came back again, this time he had food. He drop all the food onto my lap. I took an apple from the pile of food and looked at it .

"It’s safe.’’ I look at radio before looking back at the apple and I took a bite. I bite more into the apple. It been so long since i last ate! I look at radio to see he was smiling. I hand him a box of cookies but he denied it.

"Don't you want to eat Radio?’’ he shook his head.

"You’re not much of a talker, are you Radio?’’ he just patted my head again.
