Listening to the gentle rain I closed my eyes to feel is hypnotic pulse on my skin. Sounds of rustling leaves whisper songs of serenity given way to new site. My mind is filled with new realities, my heart a quickening.

Opening my eyes and with a tender hand I catch a lofty raindrop and thought of the first time I saw you cry.

my voice carried high on the wind ever so softly to heaven above asking God to hold you when I could not, The rain to lull you to sleep and the wind to calm your soul.

A sense of purpose brought balance to my compashion. To hold you when you need it hum a tune to help you sleep, look into your eyes so you might know how much I care. So you can shine like a Midnight Star on honeysuckle breeze then I thought how lucky I am to be me.
