SCENE ONE home

"MOM?" Said sierra
She starts to look For her Mom in the kitchen, Living Room, And Basement.
"Yes?" Sierras mom answered.
SIERRA: Where are you?
MOM: In the bathroom.
SIERRA: have you seen my necklace?
MOM: No.
SIERRA: Where's pops?
MOM: Outside fixing the antique he calls a car.
NARRATOR: sierra runs outside to find her pop.
SIERRA: Pops?
POPS: sierra hand me that wrench over there baby.
SIERRA: here you go. (sierra hands pops the wrench.)
POPS: thanks. Now did you have to tell me something?
SIERRA: Yup, why do you have to leave?
POPS: Sierra, baby you know my job wants to....
SIERRA: (rudely interrupting him) what ya say pops?
POPS: what?
SIERRA: what did you call me?
POPS: Baby?
SIERRA: yea, that I'm not a baby anymore.
POPS: oh, sorry I forgot you not my little 9 year old anymore.
SIERRA: Yup, I'm 16 now.
POPS: don't you have to be in school or somethin?
SIERRA: Yes, markiese is coming to pick me up.
POPS: Oh him.
SIERRA: pops? Why do you hate him so much?
POPS: I don't hate him I just don't trust him.
SIERRA: Why?
POPS: Because I don't want him to hurt you that's all.
SIERRA: Pops stop worrying he loves me and I love him.
NARRATOR: Markiese pulls up to the house.
POPS: I know but.......
SIERRA: alright bye Pops.
NARRATOR: Sierra got in the car.

Scene two the car
MARKIESE: Sup Baby.
SIERRA: Hey Markiese.
MARKIESE: You ready?
SIERRA: Yup lets go.
MARKIESE: Alright cool.
NARRATOR: The car departs. The teens go to school.
Scene three school
NARRATOR: class bell rings and sierra leaves class with her books in her hand. Three girls approach her....
GIRL1: Wassup fag.
GIRL2: Yea where the hell u goin?
SIERRA: I'm trying to get to class. Please move.
GIRL3: Or what?
NARRATOR: The girl pushes sierra up against the locker with sierras books in her hand shoving them in sierras neck. Sierra starts to gasp for air as the principal walks toward them stoping the girls. The principal makes sure sierras ok and the girls run away.

Scene four driving
NARRATOR: Markiese picks sierra up and drops her off at home.
SIERRA: alright baby.
MARKIESE: Ok, I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8:00.
SIERRA: Alright.
NARRATOR: Sierra walks up to the door and hears her parents arguing. In faint voices........................
MOM: Got damn Keith!
POPS: What Gina! It's mine anyways got damn that!
MOM: Well, take All Your shit and leave! GOD!
NARRATOR: Pops leaves the house and slams the door, passes Sierra and drives away. Sierra enters the house....
SIERRA: Mom? What happened?
MOM: Nothing, how was your day at school?
SIERRA: Fine. Where is pops going?
MOM: Nowhere. Go to bed.
SIERRA: But....
MOM: GO!
SCENE FIVE home
SIERRA: Hey, morning Mom.
NARRATOR: MOM starts crying.
SIERRA: Why are you crying
MOM: I got some bad news.
SIERRA: What happened?
MOM: Your dad......he died last night.
NARRATOR: Sierra starts to cry.
SIERRA: How!!!
MOM: He died in a car accident.
NARRATOR: They both start to cry.
Scene six the funeral home
NARRATOR: They had a funeral for pops, a lot of people came. Markiese comforted sierra as she cried in his arms. It was a horrible day that day nobody could ever forget that day. Especially Sierra.

Scene seven Connor's street
NARRATOR: Sierra was walking down the street and her friends are smoking majiuana. She decides to try somthin new...
SIERRA: Hey guys.
SAMANTHA: Sup CC.
SIERRA: What are ya'll doin?
SAMANTHA: killin oxygen.
SIERRA: O cool.
SAMANTHA: Want some?
SIERRA: SURE!
NARRATOR: Her mom pulls up the street.
MOM: Sierra?!?
SAMATHA: Shit! You better run girl!
NARRATOR: Sierra starts to run. Her mom gets out and chases her.
MOM: Sierra!!
NARRATOR: Sierras mom grabs hold of her. Puts her in the car and drives home.

Scene eight home
MOM: What is wrong with you!
SIERRA: Nothing I was havin fun somthin you don't know how to do!
MOM: Smoking weed is not fun.
NARRATOR: Sierras mom slaps her.
SIERRA: What the hell!?
MOM: Watch your mouth young lady.
SIERRA: I'm not a young lady I'm a fucking teenager!
MOM: Go to your room!
SIERRA: NO!
NARRATOR: sierra stomps out the door and calls her boyfriend Markiese and he comes to pick her up.
Scene nine the car
MARKIESE: BABY YOU OK?
SIERRA: YEA IM MOVING IN WITH YOU!
MARKIESE: What about your stuff?
SIERRA: I'LL BUY SOME MORE!!
MARKIESE: ok.
NARRATOR: The couple pulls up at Markieses house.

Scene ten Markiese's house
MARKIESE: ARE YOU SURE YOU'RE OK!
SIERRA: YES!!!
MARKIESE: WHAT HAPPENED?!
SIERRA: DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!
MARKIESE: IM GOING TO BED!
NARRATOR: The couple slept in bed that night. A gun shot was heard.
MARKIESE: Baby!? NO! Don't leave me I'm sorry.
Scene eleven the court
NARRATOR: The next day Markiese went to court for the death of Sierra Isabelle Cortez. This was his case.
JUDGE: All rise! We have come here today for the case of the death to Sierra Isabelle Cortez. Markiese Jerome Wyatt is being held as the murderer. How do you plea Mr. Wyatt?

MARKIESE: I'll tell you the truth she murdered herself in the bathroom and I'll tell you how. I woke up and she was talking to herself and I could hear her she said: "This world is unforgiving and I can't live on it any longer". She killed herself with that 9mm shotgun right there (pointing at the evidence). I ran in there and her brains were all over the place....and...I couldn't help her she was gone.
JUDGE: You have no evidence that you didn't do it Markiese I'm afraid I have to send you to prison for 10 years!
MARKIESE: WHAT!
JUDGE: YES! I'm sorry but I have no choice. (the judge slams the gavel).
NARRATOR: The truth is Markiese did kill sierra that night he took a lot of medication so he doesn't remember well, but he can't change the fact that his baby is gone. Speaking of children sierra had little girl named Alyssa after her death. Her mom is the guardian of the child until Markiese gets out. So Markiese went to prison for 10 years. Sierra is dead. Pops is dead. Reality is a messed up unforgiving game sometimes. If you don't play by the rules YOU LOSE so if you act how you're supposed to you'll make it.
