Sonadow: Love Is Hard {Book 1}

Chapter 23: 9 Months Later...

"It's okay Sonic. We'll find some way to get Shadow back his memory and have him back together with you and Maxine." Dark smiled. Sonic smiled and hugged him

"Thank you so much for being here with me though this whole thing. Thank you to Exe." Sonic laughed a little, but tears were still visible in his eyes.....

(With Tails, Amy, and Shadow)

"Sonic had his baby today." Amy rolled her eyes as she continued to scroll through messages on her phone

"He's a herm?" Shadow questioned. Amy and Tails nodded. Tails pulled Shadow into his lap and nuzzled his neck

"You're so cute and adorable when you're clueless." Tails chuckled and kissed Shadow on his cheek. Shadow blushed

"T-Thank you." Shadow replied. Shadow then felt his heart ache

"You aren't suppose to be here!!! Go to the one you love!!!" That same voice has been haunting Shadow for the past 9 months, ever since his last encounter with Sonic and Knuckles. Sometimes Shadow would break down and cry because the pain in his heart was too much. He coughed to block the pain and stood up out of Tails's lap

"I'm going for a walk. Do y'all wanna come with me?" Shadow glanced at Tails and Amy to see them nodding. For the past 9 months, Tails and Amy have been keeping their eyes on Shadow to make sure Sonic or any of the others don't try and bring Shadow's memory back. Tails and Amy stood up and they walked out of the house with Shadow following...

(With Sonic)

"You guys I wanna go for a walk." Sonic had stopped crying now and he was happy again. Dark and Exe were still out of his head and he was, like always, really enjoying their company. He really found it funny when Dark would tease Exe. Exe would start blushing and would start telling Dark to stop, but Dark rarely ever listened to him

"Okay we'll go with you! Do you wanna dress Maxi before we leave or do you want me to do it?!" Brenda called from upstairs. Sonic had ran upstairs and stood at Brenda and Niesha's doorway in front of Brenda

"No I got it. Thanks for the offer though and thanks for helping me." Sonic smiled at Brenda and hugged her. Brenda hugged him back

"Anytime. Now Maxine is in you and her room. Niesha went downstairs to get Dark and Exe out of the backyard. When you're done with Maxine then we can leave." Brenda stated. Sonic nodded and went into him and Maxine's room. Maxine was in a small purple crib. She seen Sonic walking in and began to babble and giggle. Sonic smiled and walked over to her crib, picking her up and hugging her

"Hey Maxi. Let's get you dressed. We're going for a walk in the park with the others." Sonic smiled as Maxine smiled and giggled. Sonic went over to the changing table and pulled out a diaper. He changed Maxine's diaper and then put her in a small pink shirt and blue pants. He brushed her quills a little and she began to giggle again. Sonic smiled and thought about Shadow standing behind him with his arms around his waist and his head on his shoulder. He smiled at that thought and picked Maxine up

"Now that you're clean, let's go to the park." Sonic grabbed Maxine a bottle and her baby bag. He walked downstairs to see the others sitting on the couch waiting for him

"Okay we're ready." Sonic notified everyone. The gang then got up and walked out, heading to the park....

(A Little Later) (With Shadow, Tails, and Amy)

"I love you." Tails had his arms wrapped around Shadow's waist tightly. Shadow smiled as he continued to walk

"I love you too Miles." Shadow kissed Tails on his cheek. Amy aww'ed at them. Suddenly Tails and Amy stopped. Shadow looked at them confused

"What wr-"

"Sh-Shadow?" Sonic, Dark, Exe, Niesha, and Brenda were standing in front of Shadow, Tails, and Amy

"Oh hi Sonic. Congrats on the baby." Shadow smiled. Sonic smiled weakly as tears appeared in his eyes

"What's wrong?" Shadow questioned. Sonic showed Maxine to Shadow and Shadow's eyes widened

"She's your daughter as well." Sonic stated barely above a whisper. Shadow continued to stare at Maxine. He finally took the little girl into his arms. Maxine babbled and grabbed Shadow's finger, placing it in her mouth

"You don't remember me? My name is Sonic The Hedgehog...." Sonic started. Shadow looked at him

"9 months ago you found out that your girlfriend Amelia Rose, also known as Amy, cheated on you with a dude named Scourge. You kicked her out of your house and that exact day, my girlfriend and I broke up and you allowed me to stay at your house....." Sonic bit his lip

"Don't listen to him Shadow! He's lying! You never went out with Amy and you've never met Sonic until now!" Tails shouted. Shadow didn't even listen to him. He was too focused on Sonic's words

"A few days later we realized that we had feelings for each other. For a later days later, my ex Niesha and your ex Amy got together. Everyone didn't believe it until they basically fucked in front of us." Sonic chuckled sadly. Shadow's head began to hurt as memories appeared back into his head

"That exact day Amy and Niesha proved to us and everyone else that they were together, you and I headed home and had unprotected sex. I loved every second of it and you did as well. The next morning I had a sick feeling and I went to the bathroom to throw up. You came in and called Rouge and told her to bring us a pregnancy test. She came back with one along with Niesha and Cherry by her side. I took the test, but was too scared to check it so Niesha did it for us. She looked at it and came out of the bathroom and announced that we were going to be parents. You smiled so big that day." Sonic looked at Shadow to see him looking at Maxine

"A few days later, word got out to the gang that I was pregnant. The boys and you, including Niesha, decided to have a guys night out and the girls and I decided to stay at Cream's house and have a girls night in. That's when we met Brenda. You cheated on me that night though." Sonic sighed. Shadow's eyes widened as every single memory he lost came back into his head. He looked down at Maxine to see her still sucking on his finger. He pulled his finger out of her mouth and his eyes filled with tears

"I-I'm sorry Sonikku." Shadow smiled sadly and hugged Maxine tightly. Sonic ran up to Shadow and hugged him and Maxine

"Shadow what are you doing?! You're my boyfriend!" Tails shouted angrily

"No I'm not. I'm Sonic The Hedgehog's boyfriend and I'm Maxine's father." Shadow hissed back at Tails. Niesha pulled out a gun and shot Tails and Amy in their heads, killing them instantly

"I was gonna do that earlier, but you know." Niesha shrugged and put her gun away. Shadow smiled and kissed Sonic passionately

"I love you Sonic." Shadow mumbled pulling away from the kiss and laying his head on Sonic's. Sonic smiled and chuckled lightly

"I love you too Shadow." Sonic replied. Maxine giggled and babbled, getting her dads attention. Shadow and Sonic laughed and began walking home with Dark, Exe, Niesha, and Brenda following.....
