I open the door to see my mum crying, I look at Diane but she's clueless. Mmum I stammer wwhat's wrong ? I'm finally able to speak. " SOMETHING TERRIBLE ! " mom yells at me. " girls go upstairs dad says hugging mum. " ok " we say as we dash upstairs. My head was bursting with questions where's dad, why is mum yelling, why is Diane's dad hugging her why not Diane's mum! Diane's mum comes into the room. " um Maisie I've got some bad news " Diane's mum says a tear rolling down her cheek. " your father has passed away " Diane's mum says bursting into tears. I stop dead and then before I knew it everything blacked out.
