Laura's POV

The first time we met, could never be blurred or faded. It was magical like true love, I always knew we were meant for each other it was only that Peter could never understand.

It was during our first grade summer, the heat could never bother me and the sun was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Well, second most beautiful thing. Peter Jones just moved into my neighbourhood, his new house was right across from mine and all I had to do was walk across the street to see his face.

"Hello." I politely introduced myself.
"I'm Lau-" Then I realized he couldn't hear me.
"HI!" I yelled. His mother had a disappointed expression on her face.
"Peter! This young lady walked over here just so she could introduce herself to you. Get up and show some respect!"
He turned around and glared at his mother, then me.
"Hi.." He had a dead smile and turned back around. Though his gestures weren't as kind as I hoped, his blue eyes sparkled in the light and his hair flowed perfectly in the summer breeze.

I could never forget that feeling I felt when I saw him, sometimes I over exaggerate things a little. But I knew, it was certain that Peter totally had a crush on me! I tried not to smile too much about it but I couldn't, the fact that I might get my first kiss with Peter made me so happy. I was giggling and playing with my food through out dinner.
"Laura, what are you doing?" My mother asked
"Nothing!.." I reply, but I still couldn't stop smiling.

That night as my mother tucked me in I told her all about Peter. She giggled when I told her that Peter had a crush on me. I just knew that we were star-crossed lovers. Luckily I was smart enough to notice that Peter is adorably shy, so I guess that I'll just have to prove it to him.

Peter's POV

"Hey look it's your girlfriend, Laura!" I hear this phrase everyday. Everyone teased me about this dumb girl! This girl who totally could not take a hint! It all started when I moved from California to across from the most annoying girl ever existing.

I had just finished taking the boxes inside the house and my father said I could rest. Luckily there was a giant rock in the middle of our lawn, a perfect place for me to sit. So I grab out my brand new phone and start playing my favourite games, until... Some dumb girl just comes out of nowhere and starts bothering me! This isn't the first time this has happened when I moved to a new house, someone just comes up to introduce themselves. But that's not the problem, it's always been the girls trying to get my attention. And this Laura girl is definitely not going to get it, my father told me a secret once. It was a trick to get rid of all of these girls, well first when he told me this he didn't get why I didn't like them. But he didn't know that they had gross germs, at least that's what my friend Felix told me.
"If you ignore them they'll stop bothering you." Said my father.
So I did.

When Laura came up to me I heard her, I was simply just ignoring her.
"Hello" She said.
I smiled, my plan was totally going to work. For a moment I heard silence she must hav-
"HI" She yelled.
After that I'm surprised that my ears still work. Then I saw my mom, that's how I knew my plan failed. She yelled at me and told me to introduce myself. I sighed, turned around and glared at both my mother and Laura.
"Hi" I said in absolutely no expression. And I turned back around, Laura then finally left and I was relieved.
