Currently, Dave sat in the car with his older brother. Derek, Where were they headed might you ask? Well they were moving to Washington. Where Dave's best friend happened to live, that friends name just so happened to be John Egbert. A huge nerd in Dave's eyes, He loved Nick Cadge. Con Air was his favorite thing, not even movie. It. Was. His. Favorite. Thing. Ever. He had bright blue eyes, messy black hair. Thick glasses, and buck teeth, And always sported a smile. He was definatly one of the most optimistic people ever known by Dave. While Dave remained seemingly emotionless. Eitherway, the two boys just seemed to click.

Now, Dave. Dave Strider to be exact; He was the master of irony. Not to mention sarcasm, If there was a sarcastic comment that could be made, this boy made it. Now, if anyone had anything to say about him. There is one thing that no one could say that could be argued, The most ironic thing about this male was his glasses. Shades to be exact, mirror shades that hid his eyes. What color were they? Well they were

He had blonde hair, styled to perfection. His hair never ever seemed to get messed up. Shades never removed, and his stoic look never seemed seemed to face away. Other than the rare grin, and the much more frequent smirk displayed from almost all of the Striders.

After around two to three days, they finally made it to DC. Dave was tired of riding, Derek was tired of driving; But the younger Strider sported a happy grin. The first couple of weeks in Washington were going to be spent at said friends house. Which gave Dave plenty of time to tease the crap out of his friend, who loved to say that he wasn't 'A Homosexual' Which Dave, was determined to prove wrong.

They pulled up to the Egbert residence, Dave practically broke his neck jumping out of the car. Grabbing the bag that held his clothing, and running up to the door. Forcing himself not to break it open as he knocked, He would never admit the fact that he was more than exited.

Meanwhile, John had been waiting in his room. He had been smiling even more than normal, this would be the first time he ever met his friend. In person that is, he actually straightened up his room quite a bit. His dad had cleaned out the spare room for Derek, Dave would actually be staying in John's room. Which John couldn't help but admit scared and exited him a little bit at the same time.

John almost squealed like a girl when he heard the other boy's fist make contact with the door, a little to eagerly. John ran down the stairs, somehow not falling and breaking something. Considering the boy was quite clumsy, which explains why when he opened the door he tripped and fell onto Dave. But the blonde Strider easily caught him, a smirk on his lips. "Hey there, A little to exited to see me aren't ya? Already clingin' onto me."

John couldn't help the blush on his cheeks as he pushed back off of him. "I-I tripped." There was a clear difference in the boy's voices. Dave's Texas accent might've sent chills down John's spine. "Whatever you say John." Dave grinned lightly, looking at the black haired male in front of him. Taking in what he looked like, mentally calling him cute. Looking at his small lips and buck teeth. Looking into his bright blue eyes and grinning more.

John did the same thing to Dave, His concealed eyes sparked curiously in the smaller male. He took in the cool-kid composure of the blonde. Then smiled brightly, moving out of the way so he could come into the house. Which he did exactly that, walking into the house. Which Derek soon followed, meeting the older Egbert within the kitchen. Dave and John ran up to his room, and Dave flopped himself onto the bed. Groaning as his back popped and grinning as he laid out. "Egbert, this bed. It feels like heaven on earth." John giggled lightly.
