I believe strongly in science. If people say God made the Earth, I won't say there wrong, but I'll ask them to prove it. No one ever can. I've had full blown arguments on that topic alone. People say vampires don't exist. Yes, I can't prove they exist, but can you prove that they don't. If you can't prove something doesn't exist, don't tell me it doesn't because you might be telling the truth or you could be lying.
A interesting question. If a tree falls in a forest with no one around to hear it, does it make a sound? What do you think?
Most people would be surprised to know it doesn't. It creates sound waves, but sound requires a recipient. So if no one can hear it, it didn't make sound. It is confusing, but true.
Scientists tons of new discoveries are being made every day. Einsteins theory of relativity was recently proved and it was made decades ago.
Science has always been a huge part of my life. My dad has been into science since he was little and I love to talk to him about random science things. My great grandfather was also really into science. He was a science whiz. He recently passed away and he knew I love science because he left me notebooks full of calculations and equations. It is all so far above my level, but it was a special bond we had. I'll remember him whenever I use one of his notebooks in several years.
This brings me to my next topic. I am an overachiever. I haven't gotten a B and would burst into tears if I did. My grades are one of the most important things to me. I'm not trying to make anyone feel dumb or stupid, but why are some people satisfied with a C or a D or a F? There are people I know who got a F and when the teacher offers a redo, they don't care. I don't understand at all. I want to redo a paper I got a A- on, but some people are ok with a F? I want to scream "DO YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FUTURE?!?!" I want to get a scholarship and I try my best to try to get one. I know people will say, I'll try for a scholarship in high school. IT ONLY GETS HARDER PEOPLE!! Try now! My goal is to get straight As until 8th grade. I've gotten As through all of 5th and 6th grade and the first two quarters of my 7th grade year. I have the highest grade in my science class 101% average. People ask how and I'm like, have you seen those extra question on the tests that take another minute to do. I do all those. I grasp every chance for extra credit because with me, I can always do better. I'm not going to stop doing the extra credit questions because I have 101. My lowest grade is a 96 and most people are happy with that. I'm not. I'm always striving for more, to do better. There is always room to improve.
You can't be perfect at something. You can be really good, but not perfect. If you're perfect at playing the piano, you can play every song? Doubtful. There is always room to improve. Everyone has a different definition of perfect. This is great example where the dictionary lies. Omg! Also, perfection is boring. If you're perfect at something, there's no challenge.
