@RoseGoldHeart wrote a book called My Thoughts. In the book she was talking about periods. I commented something on there about my first time having my period. But, it was bits of the story... So, this is the whole embarrassing story. Enjoy!
I was in the 5th grade, and it was after lunch. I was in the middle of reading class, and all of the sudden I felt something wet. And I saw it, the thing my mom and grandmother talked about. It was blood, and the worst part was I was wearing tan pants.
I started crying before anyone noticed, and when the teacher saw me. It was like HE saw a ghost or something. He picked me up as fast as he could ,and ran me out the room. He called my granny because my mom was at work.
And I remember EXACTLY what he said. He said that your grand daughter had her cycle, and that I was a bloody mess. 5 minutes later, my granny came with pants. Thank god, and made me change the pants I was in. When I got in to the car she said, " I got you a period kit.
It had pads, wipes, some kind of medicine for cramps, and 3 XL chocolate bars. When I got back home, I got into bed. And was watching t.v. Til my mom got home. I told he the story, she started laughing. I guess to her it was funny, but that the story. Stayed home for 3 days.
