I was so scared. I didn't even know why. It had been a year since the war. A year since I defeated Voldemort. A year since Teddy became an orphan. A year since George lost his other half. A year since we lost so many good people. Tears still came to my eyes. But, things were getting better. After the war we had to try to rebuild Hogwarts. Parts of Hogwarts were still in shambles when the next school year came but it just meant cramped rooms and lessons. Hermione was the only one who continued seventh year. She continued it with Ginny, Neville, and Luna. Kinsgley, or Minister Kingsley, gave me and Ron a job as Aurors. We got to skip the three years of school. I out found that as the  the only remaining relative of the Potter's, I got to inherit the Potter Mansion once I was of age.  Ginny recently moved in with me since her seventh year ended a couple of weeks ago. Now, I was going to propose to her. I had to get permission from the whole Weasley family. Ron almost killed me but Hermione stopped him. She had him twirled around her finger. I had picked out a beautiful ring for her. Now, if only she would say yes. She was going to go on a picnic with me in the valley behind the manor.

"Hey." A familiar voice whispered and arms went around my neck. "What are you thinking about?" Ginny asked me.

"Just how amazing you are." I whispered back turning around and putting my arms around her waist. "You look amazing." I said. She was wearing a dress that was white lace top and blue/grey skirt that was lower in the back. A gold belt was on her waist.

"You don't look that bad yourself Potter. Where are we going anyways?" She asked me.

"You'll see." I said.

I led her to a spot in the forest behind the valley.

Ginny's POV

Harry led me to a wonderful clearing in the forest. He had put a picnic blanket with candles on top and a picnic basket. Lights were hung across the trees. Gosh, Harry was amazing. The only bad part was everyone else. Reporters were always trying to pry into our lives and I was always getting hate mail from Harry Potter lovers and glares from them for being with The Boy Who Defeated The Dark Lord.  I was so glad to have some private time with him. I heard something crash but I just thought of it as an animal.

"It's amazing!" I said.

"Only the best for you." He whispered behind me. I turned around and he spinned me around.

"Harry James Potter, I love you." I said against his chest once he put me down.

"I love you ten times more." Harry said.

"That's impossible." I said. He smiled. "Are you going to give me the food or not?" I asked.

We sat down and Harry fed me some of the pasta. It was my favorite. Suddenly I thought of how it was also Fred's favorite.

"You okay?" he asked.

"Yeah." I said. But he knew I was lying and took my chin in his hand.

"Gin, what's going on?" he asked.

I sighed, letting the small tears escape. "It's just... pasta was Fred's favorite." I sniffed.

"Oh Gin, would Fred really want you to be moping on how you were eating his favorite dish? He would be laughing that you even remembered that." I smiled.

"Harry, you are amazing."

"I know." he said. I slightly punched him. Harry started looking nervous.

He said. "Ginny."

"Yeah." I asked.

"Um... I have something to tell you." he said.

Oh no. He couldn't be...breaking up with me. I mean he does have a lot of other options. Maybe he found someone better or prettier than me. How could he? He wouldn't... right? Oh no. Why would he do this? I thought things were going great. Should I have been a better girlfriend. Did he think I wasn't good enough.

"Ginny, I..." he didn't get to continue because we heard something from the bushes. Harry groaned.

"If it's those awful journalists again, I swear." he muttered. We stood up and walked over to the bush.

"Show yourself." I said.

That's when four familiar people sheepishly came out.
