Chapter 1

Background:  You are the youngest child of two to the Famous Akihiko Kayaba. You and your brother are his pride and joy and one of his greatest subjects. It was easy for him to deceit you and you brother Alex into making a death game. After all he is your Father. No one knows about you except for his most trusted advisers. Like it should be. All is fine until he leaves you and you learn the truth about the truth behind S.A.O. What happens next..? Only time will tell.

January 22, 2020:

"Dad?" I asked the man.

"No. Call me Mr. Kayaba."

"Mr. Kayaba?"

"Yes, what is it my dear?"

"What are you doing da- I mean Mr. Kayaba?" You walk over to the computer where it looks like codes and data.

"I am following my dreams." He finishes the line of code and pushes enter. "Huh looks like it won't launch."

"Mr. Kayaba You forgot the 'durm' code to support the system mainframe which caused it to collapse."

"That right dearest (Y/n) what would I do without you. Hey will you help me with the rest of this coding?"

"Yes Mr. Kayaba."

Your father pulled you to his lap and the two of you coded for hours on end soon you fall asleep in his arms.

"Goodnight my dearest soon we will live in that floating castle I dreamed about. Just me, you, and Alex in a world that I can control." He places you in your bed, tucks you in and kisses you goodnight before coding again.

Your Pov~

Father has grown in popularity and has kept me out of the spotlight. No one even knows I exist or at least that I'm his daughter.The only one they know about is my brother Alex. They found out about him because he was the one who trained the beta testers. I am happy for him the game we worked so hard is releasing tomorrow, my birthday, but that was before I found out it's true purpose. I know that I have to stop at all cost. Father has left the house he left me. Like always my present is on the kitchen counter. Last year he gave me books and games even a set of custom Nervegear but he took that with him when he left. I know deep down in my heart he is not coming back not until his dream ends. I love my father but his dream is going to be crushed I just need to find a way to do it. All he left behind is the is the bosses and the levels nothing to use to shut down the program. Wait he also left a computer if I can get on tomorrow before the game launches I can make a logout button and disable the fryer in the Nervegear. That's it. All will end tomorrow.

I looked at the clock 11:00. I have time let's look at my gift. You walk over to the counter. 'Should I open it? The least I can do right? 'You open the card.

" Happy 14th Birthday Dearest (Y/n). Thank you for all your help I don't know what I would do without you...."

"Screw it! Screw you..!"You start to break down in tears.You throw the card onto the floor. You glance at the card not wanting to finish it but the card compels you.

"...Sincerely Mr. Kayaba"

You wipe a tear. " Of course he would." You place the card down grab the blueprint and run to the computer. You hack into the system but fail to shut down the game. Just a password stands in your way.

"password:_*****_ incorrect password"

"password:_********_ incorrect password"

You glance at the clock '12:30'. All is hopeless. Then something catches your eye.A file called 'Beta Testers'. You click on the file choosing any name you could find.

"Kirigaya,Kazuto" You program your way into the headset, vision, and headphone part of his Nervegear.

"Kazuto Kirigaya blink twice if you can hear me"

Kirito's Pov~

I can't believe it. I can't be true, but it is. We are stuck in a game with only one way out. Up. Two hundred have already died if not more. What kind of sick person does this? I promise that I won't die. I won't let this stupid game get the best of me. I will return to my 'family' and I sure as hell will find out why Akihiko Kayaba made this game.Just to think 1 hour ago I was with Klein killing low level boars to discover the truth to this game. No log out button, no re-spawn, just death. I could feel my stomach rumble enough to cause an earthquake. So now that this is technically our new reality that means that food is just as filling as real world food. So, I guess I need to eat to fight so let go to the nearest restaurant.

He walks over to the restaurant eats and buys a room at the inn. He was about to sleep when he heard a voice. "Kazuto Kirigaya blink twice if you can hear me."

I blinked twice not even thinking about where the voice came from. Then it hit me. "Wait who's there?'' 

"Great you can hear me. Sorry but there's no time to explain." She answered back.

"There is always time to explain."I replied.

"Fine. This game is a death trap if you die here you die in the real world. And if we don't stop it soon the game master will remove the..'' I cut her off.

"The logout button?"

"How did you know that? Tell me! Please tell me I am not too late please."

"I'm sorry,but 1 hour ago Akihiko Kayaba told us all of that. Two hundred people have already died."

The girl starts to cry. "No but that's impossible the release of the game was supposed to be 13:00 but standard time so 12:00. God I am such a Baka." The girl begins to curse herself under her breath. There was nothing but silence between the two.

I started to break the silence. "Hey it is not your fault. And you did what you could. It takes a genius to hack into Kayaba' s system to get to beta testers Nervegear systems."

She let out a soft tiny giggle. "Yeah I guess it does thanks. Oh by the way I'm (Y/n)."

" Nice to meet you (Y/n). As you know I am Kazuto but you can call me Kirito."

"Ok 'Ki-ri-to looks like we are going to work together to beat the game. I have cheats, but I help only I you need it."Said the girl.

"Yeah I guess we are. Hey if we are going to beat we need to know more about each other. I am Kazuto Kirigaya I am 14 years old....." I explained almost everything about me to her both kept small things to myself I can't completely trust her just yet.

"Oh uhm. I am (Y/n)..Kayaba. I am 14 years old and I was tricked by my dad into making this game..." She also explained her life story not holding back.

"Wow I'm sorry. That you went through that you deserve better."

"I have learned to live with it. It really helps when you don't go to school and are home schooled then you can't be rejected two places.Hey you know what you're the only person I told that to. You should be honored"

"Wow such a blessing for me?" We both laugh "well we should get to sleeping we have been talking over a hour"

"Oh right uhm goodnight Kirito." I heard her crawl into bed.

"Goodnight (Y/n)." You both drift to sleep.

(Y/n) Pov~

Maybe going through this death game won't be so bad. At least not with my new found friend Kirito...
