When faced with a situation that calls for either a fight or flight response, Lily does what her mother had taught her all those years ago; Fight, until either the problem has been solved, or the situation has just become so ridiculous that it wasn't worth fighting against or for anymore.
But yet again, this situation wasn't like the others.
There is an old saying that you reap what you sow. That the outcome of whatever it is you have done, can only be blamed on you.
Lily Adriana Merritt has not once believed in those sayings. But maybe she does now.
