Stone or egg?

My eyes snap open. My phones vibrating on the countertop, who charged it?

I reach for the phone and press answer on the button.

"Hello?"

"Jade?" it's a male voice.

"Um yeah?"

"I was wondering if your alright?"

"I'm fine, thanks."

"No problem."

"Who is this?"

"No one, bye."

"Wait bu-" the line goes dead. I lay down and play on my phone until I realize who charged it? Did they see the video? The video I pull up the video and watch.

It's three hours and forty eight minutes! Holy crap! Every thing I remember happens but it's amazing to have a bird's eye view. But the strangest thing is that the stone wasn't there for one second and then boom flash of light equals white stone. maybe white light, or white fire? Nah...

I take it the stone and study it while it hums.

White like a diamond but also shiny. Then there are silver veins going every where. It's very large, very light, hollow, these the things I know about the stone. I get on the internet using my phone and type in hollow stones. Tons of random things pop up but nothing worth my time. I type in

White hollow round object. Something about a bouncy ball came up. Morons. I type in alive natural hollow stone. I scroll down, and down, and dow- almost miss it. Egg. It hummed, vibrated, was hollow, white. Could it be? No. It was way to big. Huge. You'd have to be the size of a house to lay this thing. Still... it was the only thing reasonable at the moment. It reminded me of the book... of course I'm crazy for thinking that, but still. Everything happened the same, how could I not think it was an egg? Not only an egg but a dragon egg. Gosh I'm losing my mind!

There's a knock on the door and I shove the egg in the bag. Stone. I meant stone. My dad walks in. "Hey I signed the release forms and we can go."

Already? I guess they changed their minds. I'm glad to leave the hospital but I hurt all over... "Okay." I don't like complaining.

A nurse comes in with a wheelchair and I look at it strangely, she seems to pick up on it and says, "It's procedure."
