Chapter: 1

"Chris!" I turn to the familiar voice, and instantly plaster a smile on my face.

"Hi Lizzy, you're back how was the Bahamas?"  Lizzy was the closest thing I had to a best friend, she's was in the Bahamas for the past two months vacationing, and I was in the airport picking her up.

"Oh my gosh it was so beautiful. I got lots of pictures for you!"

"Thanks, now lets get out of here..." I start to say but then get cut off.

"I know, big open places creep you out, can we get food on our way back i'll pay?"

"Yeah sure, where do you want to go?" I ask, hoping she won't say McDonald's.

"Can we go to... Wendy's?"

"Yes, now come on lets go." I say grabbing her bag fast walking to the exit door.

The sooner we could get out of that airport the sooner I would feel better. I was never a big fan of very public places, with lots of people comes lots of anxiety. As soon as we were in the car Lizzy looked up the closest Wendy's and put it in the G.P.S. Once we had our food we were blasting music dancing in the car while stuck in the famous N.Y 5 O'clock rush hour traffic.

"Hey mom I'm home." I say throwing my keys down heading towards the kitchen. Once I find the note on the fridge I feel silly for calling out.

           Chris,  Jack is taking me on a surprise date. I'll be home late. Please feed mittens and bubbles, remember use the vitamin stuff. Thanks Hun. Oh and yes it is okay if you want to have a friend over tonight, there is a 20 in the cookie jar so you can order a pizza. Oscar is spending the night at a friends house.

Awesome, mom and brother not home. I run up stairs and change into some much more comfortable clothes, A.K.A tank top and pajama shorts. I run back down stairs now equipped with my phone and aux cable. Once I plug up my phone and start blasting my music. "Like Suicide, by Seether."  comes on first. I run to go grab food for Mittens our 5 foot long python, and Bubbles our hedge hog. After I feed them I put Bubbles in her play pen so I can play with her a bit, and I drape Mittens around my arms and neck. Thirty minutes later I decide that I'm hungry. Fifteen minutes later the pizza guy rings the door bell and I open it with the cash in hand completely forgetting about Mittens.

"Hi, my name is Aaron and thank.. AHH! What the hell is that thing!" He screams when he sees mittens.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I completely forgot about her, give me a second and I'll go put her up." I start to turn when I notice him standing there shivering in the cold. I know I'm not supposed to let strangers in especially since I'm home alone but I can't just let him freeze.

"Do you wanna come in while I put Mittens back in her cage?"

"Only if that's alright with you." he says while walking in.

I close the door. "Okay well I'm gonna go put her back up you can follow me." I say. I let him in my house I'm not going to lose sight of him, not saying he will steal something or worse but, it's better to be safe than sorry. I start walking towards her cage and he follows.

"So Aaron, is that what you said your name was?"

"Yes, and whats your's?" He questions.

"My name is Christine but everyone just calls me Chris."

"Cool." He says. Now things are starting to get a bit awkward.

"How much will the pizza cost?" I ask.

"I'm really sorry if this comes out creepy I don't mean it to but are you home alone?" He asks.

I stop for a second thinking weather I should answer truthfully or say that I have a friend on her way over right now and will be here in five to ten minutes.

"Yes, I'm by myself. Why?" I ask.

"You ordered a large pizza. How in the world are you going to eat it? Even I can't finish off a medium by myself."

"Oh its simple" I say as if I was actually going to eat this pizza in one sitting. "I eat a slice or two now and in thirty minutes or so when I'm hungry again I eat another slice of pizza."

He laughs, oh my gosh he has an amazing laugh. "I should have guessed that too." He looks down at his watch.

"I'm sorry I must be keeping you from something, here and you can keep the change." I say handing him the twenty dollar bill.

"No actually your fine my shift just ended you were my last run." He states.

"I'm really sorry if this comes out creepy I don't mean it to." I say mocking him from earlier.  "But do you want to stay and eat pizza with me? I don't normally do this invite the pizza guy into my house have a long talk with him then ask if he wants to eat pizza with me. I don't mean anything by it, you just seem to be a cool guy and it will be just as friends."

I ramble on all at once, what was I doing I didn't even know this guy and now he probably think I'm some desperate girl wanting sex. Which I don't. I am still a virgin which is the way I'm gonna keep it until I find the right guy. Go Virgins!

"I would like very much to eat pizza with you."
