"I really like you Jordan, but it's better we stay just friends" I say as I walk down the hallway to get to third period.
"C'mon Ally, just one date"?
I looked at Jordan with a stern face," honestly man, I don't wanna lead you on, I don't have boyfriends, I stick to guy friends."
"Fine, I'll see you next period." I watch as Jordan storms off to biology.

"Hey, hey, HEY ALLISON!" I turned around and see my best friend Britt running twords me.
" Hey, Allison I just met this SUPER cute guy. Come and meet him, pleeeeaaassseeee!!" Britt says as she tugs on my brand new hoodie.
"Ok I'm coming, just please don't touch my hoodie." I say as I pull off her hand.
"Sorry, come on!" Britt says as she quickly turns and grabs my hand and pulls me into the lunch room.
"Hey where the heck are we going?" I ask as we turn a corner into the kitchen.
" He's new and he doesn't want to be seen yet, just trust me." Britt says and gives me the" please just go with it" face.
"Fine, lets hurry though, I can't be late for civics." I stand in the corner of the room so none of the lunch lady's will see me.
Britt disappears for a moment and comes back with a tall boy with messy black hair and a varsity jacket.
" Allison, meet Ryan" Britt steps back so I can see this new boy.
He had the face of an angel and the body of a model. I instantly was crushing hard.
" Hey, I'm Allison Higgler nice to meet you." I say sheepishly and go to shake his hand.
" Nice to meet you Allison, I'm Ryan Gorsety." His deep baritone voice made my knees lock.
" Cool, I hope we all can be good FRIENDS." " Britt we need to get to class before we're late."
Britt gave me an upset look but agreed saying " Ok, yeah we should probably get going, hey wait Ryan what class do you have this hour?"
Ryan's gray eyes glanced around for a second and he sputtered" Um Civics I think."
" Cool, you're with Allison, she can take you there, right?" Britt gave me a confident look.
"Yeah that could work, ok let's go Ryan, See you around Britt."

As I walked down the hallway just inches away from Ryan, he stopped
" what's wrong?" I ask
" Nothing, I just realized that I don't have a ride home after school." Ryan says looking panicked
I really really wanted to take him home, I mean I had my own car, I decided that I would.
" Um, I can take you home if you want?
" YES, I'm mean um thanks." Ryan exclaimed a bit to excitedly
" ok so just meet me in the locker room after school and I'll take you home"
" ok, hopefully I can find it." Ryan says with a nervous laugh

" hey you ready?" I ask as I approach Ryan in the locker room
" yeah, where's your car?" He asks looking around excitedly
" um it's over here, c'mon" I say as I start to walk really fast tword my car
" hey wait, slow down" Ryan shouts and grabs my hand
I stop and stand still as can be, Ryan still holding my hand, " um lets go". I say quietly
As we approach the car I let go of Ryan's hand and he gives me a nervous look," I'm sorry, for touching your hand"
" no it's, fine actually" I say , I feel myself blushing
" ok so to my house, it's on 4894 Silomomic Drive, off of Indy" Ryan explains, "Um but the door might be locked"
"That's ok, um you can just stay at my house if the doors locked" I say without looking up
I feel Ryan looking at me, " Hey, um, I'm actually really sorry about holding your hand, I barely even know you"
I look up at him and smile," honestly I didn't mind, I actually kind of liked it"
Ryan smiled and reached for my hand again, this time I let him. We pulled out and drove out of the parking lot. Each mile closer we got to his house, the more I was prayed that door was locked.
